Shriieekk - Do what you want. Who cares.

composes thread about how my Christmas will be ruined by not being able to do our traditional long haul flight because I am 30 weeks pregnant - but should I just pretend not to be pregnant to the airline as I have only put 4lb on

SHRIIIEEEKFuckingBearBlood · 25/10/2013 12:33

peggy (using it correctly) has reminded me of

... and breath

SHRIIIEEEKFuckingBearBlood · 25/10/2013 12:32

No, but if I'm getting told to eat breakfast and that not eating breakfast will ensure I die fat, alone and sobbing, then I'd quite like to know what they're basing that on :o

Grennie · 25/10/2013 12:32

You know threads like this kind of make me want to do all the no nos on it.

PervCat · 25/10/2013 12:31

Anyone on a pregnancy thread stealth boasting moaning about gaining tiny amounts of weight at 38 weeks or something.

'oh no, I put on 3lb in my first trimester, 4lb in the second and had to give up spin and judo classes at 30 weeks. I'll be HUGE!'

I'm just wildly jealous.
And grotesquely fat already.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 25/10/2013 12:31

"any

any

any''' any

ANY PERSON WHO POSTS ABOUT KIDS ON LONG HAUL FLIGHTS OR YOUR XMAS TRADITIONS

oh jeeeeeus yes"

So if your Christmas tradition is taking the kids on a long haul flight, you're fucked, then!! Grin

peggyundercrackers · 25/10/2013 12:31

anyone who says WTAF... fucking stop it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and breathe :) it rips my knitting for some reason.

SHRIIIEEEKFuckingBearBlood · 25/10/2013 12:30

I eat after 9pm all the time, no one has ever gasped at me :o
Gennie, I have found this on MFP (obviously a reputable source Wink):

"Having read through this entire thread I believe I have the gist of things: if you do not want to die a horrible death buried under a mountain of poop you should eat three dieticians before 7:00 AM EST no matter where you are on the earth unless you are in fact a dietician and then your metabolic carbonization intell-o-genic rate of cathertotronics protects you by sealing you in carbonite a la Han Solo. "

I lose it bit near the end, but it seems to back you up

Sparklingbrook · 25/10/2013 12:30

ANYWAY even if it was snowing and norty father Christmas trudged snow through the house (inconsiderate) it would have melted. Basic science.

Don't get me started on the bags of 'reindeer food'. Angry

ThoRAVENomiki · 25/10/2013 12:29

NigellasGhost great minds...!

PervCat I don't mind being considered Working Class if it makes life easier. I don't really understand modern class systems so I'll just assume it's a good thing. Smile

Grennie · 25/10/2013 12:29

Anyone who says - Maybe you should find something else to fill your time OP, rather than MN fuck off

NoelHeadbandz · 25/10/2013 12:29

Grin @ baby name spreadsheet. That's quite sweet

Imagine though, 'Well Cedric, you were supposed to be called Dylan but your idiot father got his column formatting wrong'

PervCat · 25/10/2013 12:28

Grennie · 25/10/2013 12:28

Shriiieekk - I read some research on it. There is actually an evidence base for it. But I am too lazy to google to find it.

PervCat · 25/10/2013 12:28

that too!
no from the reaction, i mean

SHRIIIEEEKFuckingBearBlood · 25/10/2013 12:27

Everyone who disagrees with anyone. I'm saying nothing. It's the easiest way to keep out of trouble. Grin

GetOrfMoiLandFucker · 25/10/2013 12:27

I never eat breakfast and often have a bag of crisps and skittles for lunch and I am as thin as a rake Grin

SHRIIIEEEKFuckingBearBlood · 25/10/2013 12:27

eats Biscuit
Grennie, that's fine. But I'd really like to see some evidence. People seem to just accept it as fact without questioning it.

PervCat · 25/10/2013 12:27

i hate the GINORMOUS gasp you get if you eat at 9pm

how come the whole of Spain isnt obese then?

OP posts:
yeghoulsandlittledevils · 25/10/2013 12:26

Yes, saying 'I feel sorry for your kids' = instant ban

The rest of it I can live with. Some of it would be better suited to nethuns.

Name bolding is as old as the hills in there parts. Hmm

ChasedByZombees · 25/10/2013 12:26

DH and I asked for baby name help here and we actually put the votes into a spreadsheet.

although in fairness I just used it to justify getting rid of names I wasn't keen on anyway and DD ended up as one of the names with a middling number of votes
