I have an old recipe book. One section has more complicated recipes and starts with a warning not to even attempt them if it is your maids day off!

ChocChaffinchEvilGhostBird · 25/10/2013 15:12

thread hijackers unless they're far more interesting than the original thread. Thread dimension changers.

ChocChaffinchEvilGhostBird · 25/10/2013 15:11

ANYONE who can't manage without the maid.

stealth boasters. I want a fecking maid.

lainiekazan · 25/10/2013 15:09

Oh, yes, the competitive book posters. "I've got 20,000" "Oh, so few? I have 50,000." Often accompanied by musings about their dcs roaming the shelves picking out Proust in original language because they've grown up surrounded by books and have absorbed a love of reading. Puke.

ChocChaffinchEvilGhostBird · 25/10/2013 15:08

handy on 5 November

SolomanDaisy · 25/10/2013 15:08

Anyone who posts,'is that all you have to worry about?' or similar in response to a post they have decided is too trivial.

SecretWitch · 25/10/2013 15:07

If you wear enough nylon you can light your own fire

usualsuspect · 25/10/2013 15:07

She bought them from Brentford nylons in their closing down sale.

SecretWitch · 25/10/2013 15:06

I really do believe some people just love to be all sorts of outraged

sis · 25/10/2013 15:06

anyone who says they couldn't possibly be within five miles of an e reader because "I love books, the smell of books, the feel of books... our home is overrun with twenty thousand books..."

ChocChaffinchEvilGhostBird · 25/10/2013 15:05

if you roll around enough in nylon you can heat the entire house.

GetOrf · 25/10/2013 15:04

NYLON!!

You cheeky article.

Don't listen to her.

ChocChaffinchEvilGhostBird · 25/10/2013 15:03

what is meant to be used in lieu of a bogbrush...??

Also LOLLers and LOOLers

PervCat · 25/10/2013 15:03

Grennie · 25/10/2013 15:01

Does getorf change her sheets every day then? Smile

TantrumsAndBalloons · 25/10/2013 14:54

so hold on, if you only have an upstairs bathroom, you have to go upstairs to wash your hands after cooking when there is perfectly good sink with running water right there

OneStepCloser · 25/10/2013 14:51

Alright, I ve just relooked, one person said it was unhygienic, ban them Grin

greenhill · 25/10/2013 14:49

I love the idea of the secret duck call for the outraged, does it involve a plastic duck bill?

Also this mythical magic chicken made of skin and dust, if we have a real chicken in our house, the cat would get to it, by the time we'd eaten our dinner...

OneStepCloser · 25/10/2013 14:46

Well because I use a bog brush my toilet is squeaky clean, you could wash them in there if you wanted Grin

I dunno, a least a couple said it was unhygienic, but did not give reasons, I think they were lying. Oh yes something to do with towels I think, lack of?

GetOrf · 25/10/2013 14:46

Every other day in winter perv

You can't wash your hands in the kitchen sink? So there are people in the land who chop up some Mumsnet Magic Chicken and then go to the bathroom to wash their hands when there is a perfectly functional sink and tap in the kitchen they have just chopped the chicken in?

SecretWitch · 25/10/2013 14:42

One is not supposed to wash hands in the kitchen sink? Should you just spit on them instead?

PervCat · 25/10/2013 14:40

lol at Mumsnet Magic chicken

OP posts:
PervCat · 25/10/2013 14:40

TantrumsAndBalloons · 25/10/2013 14:38

You can't wash your hands in the kitchen??

Why?

TantrumsAndBalloons · 25/10/2013 14:37

Anyone who sees something on the news and starts a thread about it without checking first so there are 16 threads in active about the same exact thing

And making soup out of chicken bones does not constitute a meal FFS, look at all the stuff you have to add to it. And how long you have to boil the stinking bones for Grin
