Why have you deleted a thread for being 'banal'

The thread about Colleen Nolan being a dim bulb.

It was a stupid chatty thread about terrible day time TV and presenters and ended up being a reminiscence about children's telly.

Is it because of the CLEARLY tongue in cheek comment in the OP which got people a-froth?

And as it reported by some tiresome dullard because of that?

There was a TV drama on recently where they told people they'd won something but actually they were rounding up criminals and bundling them into a van.

You could let all the "troublemakers" get a golden ticket in their gin bottle and be rid of them for good.

Oh I hope Tim Dowling wasn't upset by the whole twat-calling thing. I started that thread and I like him really (though I'm a bit bored by his banjo preoccupation these days).

No, think he was a bit taken aback at first but then his mrs and he both joined in on the thread. Jon Ronson's Mrs was a bit more upset, though very funny - she came on to complain. It was because Aitch was vair rude about his voice...
