The mobile site is brilliant, better than the desktop site and far easier to use than the app.

The reasoning of "what gets a hat" is not is it a face, but is it a circle - so Halloween Biscuit does but Bear doesn't.

I may have been involved in a thread last Christmas, accusing poor Tech of stealing poor Bear's hat, only to have a vague sense of deja vu about being on a similar thread the year before. And both times realising poor Bear has never had a hat.

See, your first problem is that you're actually using the app. I keep hoping everyone will stop using it so MN will have no choice but to kill it and start over.

But, yes, your second problem is that the app will never tell you holiday smile code. It can't. HQ don't have that ability.

You can join in, you just have to type them by hand. At least it used to back when I bothered with the app.

Just type [ thlgrin ] without the spaces.
