Yes but if you're NC for a personal thread you tend to want to be back to your normal name when you post on the "what's for dinner" thread

It is cool and clever but I don't see what reason it was added for, surely the only people who need to flick about are trolls aren't they? Most of us nc permanently, for a season or for a personal thread. Surely the odd personal thread from a regular isn't worth a whole new clever tick box?

well in fairness it only allows you to do what you can already do without going through all the faff of changing your permanent name.
I think it's a good idea.
Apart from the one time I tried to use it it didn't work.
That said, it would be better if it was a drop down box containing all your names.

Think it has to be a name you already had in the past. You cant just choose any random name.
