If you have the misfortune to land on their redirection page something TERRIBLE happens.

Along with the usual apology that you've been directed to a page that no longer exists, they have a pithy messages that states

You found it! We've been looking for that biscuit everywhere ...

And then next to it, next to it

A picture of a partially eaten

JAFFA CAKE Angry

Honestly, seriously? Do you know nothing?

It's a cake! Cake. Not biscuit. It's a cake. Angry

How could you?

I am clearly so NBU it hurts. I DEMAND a picture of a Jammy Dodger with haste.

honeydragon I hate them too. don't let the Jaffa lovers get you down

HorribleHaircut · 21/04/2013 19:20

Who the hell puts down a biscuit?! Weirdies.

And surely it should be pom bears? or a slice of quiche....?

If you get the 404 page at RTE you get a picture of Shergar.

Has anyone ever actually let a Jaffa cake go off in order to test the cake/biscuit categorisation? If so YABVU and are a bastard of the highest order. I could've had that Jaffa cake.

TSSDNCOP · 21/04/2013 19:18

Biscuits. Biscuits. Biscuits.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 21/04/2013 19:17

Fuckledybugger - HoneyDragon. Bastard iPad.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 21/04/2013 19:17

There, there, there HonetDragon. Calm down dear, it's only a biscuit.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 21/04/2013 19:14

Don't give usual a capital.

She doesn't desetve one.

Humph.

HoneyDragon · 21/04/2013 19:10

True Usual. Mingy orange bastards.

I now have about 12 tabs open trying to establish the biscuit appearance pattern.

RustyBear · 21/04/2013 19:10

MNHQ seem to have an awful lot of half-eaten biscuits lying around.

They'll be getting mice next....

usualsuspect · 21/04/2013 19:09

They have no right to call themselves cakes.

TheHerringScreams · 21/04/2013 19:08

I got jammy dodgers Hmm

HoneyDragon · 21/04/2013 19:07

Pan. As I have an unused comma I can always stick it somewhere else?

I hadn't noticed that and now it's really going to annoy me

OP posts:
SconeInSixtySeconds · 21/04/2013 19:07

Yay! Jammie dodger that time!

Theironfistofarkus · 21/04/2013 19:07

Didn't the Pringles people try to argue that they were not a potato based snack ie not a crisp or something for tax reasons?

BrittaPie · 21/04/2013 19:07

They rotate biscuits.

Pan · 21/04/2013 19:06

Ha! Blush

SoupDragon · 21/04/2013 19:06

Don't you mean an apostrophe, Pan?

No need to thank me.

HoneyDragon · 21/04/2013 19:05

They are gas lighting us with their many biscuits. Confused

OP posts:
MrsAFlowerpot · 21/04/2013 19:05

I got a strange looking breakfast bar

SoupDragon · 21/04/2013 19:04

I got a bourbon.

First time I got that page it was a Jaffa cake though.

SconeInSixtySeconds · 21/04/2013 19:04

Ooh garibaldi this time

dried fly biscuits

Pan · 21/04/2013 19:04

I'd also expect a possessive comma in the title.....no need to thank me.Smile

Viviennemary · 21/04/2013 19:04

Jaffa cakes are cakes. They had a court case something to do with VAT. And they made a huge one so that proved it was a cake. It's official.

Uppermid · 21/04/2013 19:04

Ooh, now it's a garibaldi

superbagpuss · 21/04/2013 19:03

according to hmrc - and therefore the queen - they are cakes and don't have vat on them

and they taste horrid!
