This time I know why I'm getting logged out...

the 'keep me logged on button' keeps disappearing from the mobile site!!

Sometimes it's there and I'm fine. Sometimes it isn't and then I have to log in again!!!

It happened again. And thanks, now I understand why it goes offline! Never was cut out for techy stuff me, tbh Hmm but it did log out again quite suddenly.

Smile And sorry. We do try to limit the number of times we do it during waking hours but occasionally it's just not avoidable.

Aha. Yes, sometimes when we restart to introduce some new code (usually to fix something that was playing up), you will need to log in again.

Many apols - we know it's annoying.

Hello again. Have got logged out today again? Haven't been on here much tbh, and didn't know it went offline because I obviously wasn't on here at the time, but it was not long ago.

Helen...I just got logged out. But it was after the site went offline for...something, so it may have been that!

It seems to be fixed Helen. I just logged out of the mobile site and when I went to log back in the 'keep me logged in' button was there.

And I haven't been logged out at all until just then when I did it myself.

Hello. And sorry to sound confused but what is the state of play with you folk now?

Are you still getting logged out all the time?

Or is it that you still can't see the "keep me logged on" button on the mobile site?

Or both?

It's maybe fixed now in that I haven't had to log in except on the computer that I don't use for MN that often.

I was logged out at about 2AM (I have insomnia!) and I was logged out three or so times yesterday.

While you have your sharp stick out, for Tech, can you see if the bug in going to the next / previous message in sent private messages can be fixed.

I reported it back in 2010... view a message, try to go to next or previous and it goes back to list of messages, rather than the next/prev message from the list.

I have 'bumped' that thread, as I last asked around 6 months ago.

I've been getting logged out and the 'stay logged in' box wasn't showing and that's using the Chrome browser on an iMac running OSX 10.6.8 (not using the mobile site).

Very fishy and darn annoying, last logged in 15 minutes ago or so, typed a private message to someone when to "Threads I'm On" and was prompted to login again.

Has been working fine until maybe 15:00 or so (was online and posting at times from late morning, then again after "brunch" around noon but it went odd later on (after 18:00) for me at home on this iMac.
