Hello

Just to let you know that we are dealing and exterminating; thanks for all the reports. Hope you'll understand if we don't have time to come on to all the various different threads about this right now.

OP posts:

Would you like every single one reported, or just one each time we spot a new batch? There's a huge batch in AIBU but I've only reported one of them - is that enough to flag it up to you, or does it help to have every one tagged?

Might I suggest you pipe excellent song gently across MNHQ.

All together now...

Spam it's pink and it's oval, it's made in Chernobyl, SPAM!!

PersonalClown · 03/03/2013 11:40

I'm reporting as I go!!

SPBInDisguise · 03/03/2013 11:39

Rowan is it useful for us to report every single one we see? Or in situations like this is it fair to asume if we see them, you do too?
Thanks for sorting this out. Though I do worry about what we'll all do when we fancy watching sport but can't think how.

nannynick · 03/03/2013 11:38

We are all i expect just gald the spambots have been stopped, at least till next time they visit.

Keep up the good work, hope it does not take hours.

AMumInScotland · 03/03/2013 11:34

Well done. They are tedious, aren't they? Don't worry about coming onto threads or responding personally to reports - I'm sure we're all just glad you are there with your bug-gun blasting them away.

Scout19075 · 03/03/2013 11:29

Good luck, RowanMumsnet and the rest!

Here's hoping you have lots of chocolate and Wine to help you get through it all!

SavoyCabbage · 03/03/2013 11:28

Most of its gone now so well done. During the night it was every single thread and we all had to huddle up one one thread together like there was a war on.

Well, I could have stepped outside into the 30 degree sunshine
