RebeccaMumsnet · 29/10/2012 21:38

Following on from the Halloween name change sign-up thread , the judges have deliberated long and hard and whittled the vast list of potential winners down to just 12 [hgrin]

Please take a look at the short-list and cast your vote but be quick, voting closes Tuesday 30 October. [hshock]

Thanks to all who joined in, the short-list was really tough to get down to 12 this year.

Mwahahaha hopes nobody notices the lack of prize announcement

[hgrin]

Ok I just voted, went out and then back in again and my vote has not been added. How long does it take? Is this a hanging chads scenario all over again.........

FangsGoForTheMaidensThroat · 30/10/2012 13:29

LadyMaryCreepyCrawley · 30/10/2012 13:28

I haven't won anything for years! I enter the comps on here every sodding month, but win nada! Pah! {wallows in self pitty}

ShowOfBloodyStumps · 30/10/2012 12:56

Just for MaryZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, my usual Hallowe'en name with accompanying soundtrack .

ISeeThreadPeople · 30/10/2012 12:48

Some of the best names don't relate to the original.

See CliffRichardSucksEggsInHell for a prime example.

HQ, I didn't actually nominate myself for this competition btw... I presumed I would be excluded as I was entered into the 2010 comp.

FangsGoForTheMaidensThroat · 30/10/2012 12:43

MaryZcary · 30/10/2012 09:45

Hey, I've just realised.

Why is SoH not ShowOfBloodyStumps? I look forward to that every year (along with the related youtube clip).

And now I see she is winning with another name altogether [hshock]. What is the world coming to?
