RebeccaMumsnet · 29/10/2012 21:38

Following on from the Halloween name change sign-up thread , the judges have deliberated long and hard and whittled the vast list of potential winners down to just 12 [hgrin]

Please take a look at the short-list and cast your vote but be quick, voting closes Tuesday 30 October. [hshock]

Thanks to all who joined in, the short-list was really tough to get down to 12 this year.

Mwahahaha hopes nobody notices the lack of prize announcement

I don't 'get' ShowOfHands new name??

I thought the main aim of name changing was to have a quirky play on words of your own name.

MNHQ have obviously purchased their Vote-O-Meter from poundland.

ZombTEE · 30/10/2012 15:21

Oh me too Ivor! That's exactly it!

IvorHughJackolantern · 30/10/2012 15:19

That's obviously why I'm not winning. The votes are not being counted properly. I knew there was a reason....

Northernlurkerisbehindyouboo · 30/10/2012 14:52

Just looked again and my vote has still not been added. I think this election is fixed!

ZombTEE · 30/10/2012 14:43

Oh look...I'm in last place...

::deep breath::

It's an honour just to be nominated.

[looking for the sympathy vote emoticon]

FangsGoForTheMaidensThroat · 30/10/2012 14:29

not that many votes for such a huge site!

TessCorpseDissect · 30/10/2012 14:26

Ooh - it's looking very close. Could be a photo finish.

FrankensteinWippery · 30/10/2012 13:55

Ok! Sorry about DD3's comments on your thread. Not only is she a 3 year old genius, she's nasty too. I'll make her sleep in the garden tonight.
