Log in Log bloody out

Why why why have I been randomly logged out several times a day for the past 10 days or so. It is driving me potty and pottily driven is not where I want to be.

I always tick the bloody box and I never log out. Not never.

Okay, time to gather data;

List your OS and browser and how many log outs.

iOs, Chrome. Have had to log in once tonight.

How many changes does the site need in a day? I keep constanly logging back in; especially if I've been looking at another site for a short while.

Absolutely positive. I started the thread after it did it once - logged in and did it. Then it logged me out, then it just did it again.

The thing is I NEVER log out. Ever.

I had a feeling it had something to do with Tech messing with things.

Hello

Really sorry about this - it's almost always because Tech have needed to restart the site to introduce a change. It logs everyone out when this happens (even MNHQ Shock)

I had this before a few months ago, can't remember exactly when, but maybe April. THis is the longest it's been pissing me off going on though.

Since the big site update - cannot remember when, about 1-2 years ago - which is when I last had this issue, things have been fine.

It has never come up, and I can stay logged in on Laptop, PC and Ipad, and even on separate browsers on the same device at times. This is new and just started in the last few days. I really noticed this morning when logging on and thought "Not again!"

I have no idea why you can't be, Endo. I've heard others say that as well, though.

Might be an OS issue. Might be you forgot to tick 'keep me logged in'. Grin

Well I have forever and a day been able to be logged in on my phone and laptop, and iPod Touch, without any problems.

I just did important science stuff to prove that very point to myself and , as usual, I was absolutely right. Therefore I must be a genius. Or something.

Anyway, my pottiness is ever increasing.

If I log in on a different device it logs me out of the original device, if you see what I mean. I can't stay logged in on two things (ipod, laptop) at the same time.

This has been happening to me repeatedly too - on my laptop, PC and ipad - driving me crazy!

My 'I'm On' button hasn't worked for weeks though if that makes you all feel any better. Shoddy site, this.

Nyeh. Toffee is bought and ready to be sent. I havent bashed it to seperate it because I thought you could have the honour of slamming the box on the kitchen counter and pretend it's his face.
