Following lengthy debate and deliberation here at MNHQ, we have devised a not-so-shortlist of 15 contenders for the Gold medal in the Olympic namechange heats.

Grin Blush I may be slightly over-excited as this is only my second ever name change (the other was for the Golden Jubilee - CoronationWigeon) in 4 years of mumsnetting.

Not only has my namesake just won a GOLD MEDAL but I am also an Olympics volunteer at the Olympic Park, and thus extra-specially Olympic-y.
