Thank you to all who entered our Olympic namechange competition

Following lengthy debate and deliberation here at MNHQ, we have devised a not-so-shortlist of 15 contenders for the Gold medal in the Olympic namechange heats.

Please see the shortlist and vote for your favourite.

Thank you to all who took part, you're all winners not really Grin
Thanks Thanks Thanks Torch

The poll will close at midnight on Friday 3 August No appeals to be re-marked will be entered into.

Fuck off with your hat conspiracies! I'm trying to bask in glory and you're all ruining it

LordOfThe5Rings · 01/08/2012 22:40

I never get nominated either Sad

Oh well, maybe next century eh? :D

tethersphotofinish · 01/08/2012 22:38

They must have forgotten us. They'll come back for us. They'll come back...

CheddarsintheRunning · 01/08/2012 22:38

Maybe they picked up the wrong hat.

SparklingGoldMedals · 01/08/2012 22:37

I think they must have picked names out of a hat. That must be it. Grin

tethersphotofinish · 01/08/2012 22:35

Ohhhh, this is bad. This is very, very bad.

Heads will roll.

SparklingGoldMedals · 01/08/2012 22:34

OhYouGreatGreatBritain. Genius tethers. Sad

tethersphotofinish · 01/08/2012 22:31

What's OYBBK's name?

SparklingGoldMedals · 01/08/2012 22:30
CheddarsintheRunning · 01/08/2012 22:27

Maybe we're in the 2nd heat. Or perhaps we're voting for bronze medal in that^ list. I'm sure it'll all be sorted out soon.

SparklingGoldMedals · 01/08/2012 22:17

OYBBK should be on this bench too. Sad

tethersphotofinish · 01/08/2012 22:12

Don't worry Sparkling, MNHQ will be mortified when they realise their mistake.

It's quite embarrassing.

SparklingGoldMedals · 01/08/2012 21:56
Sad
tethersphotofinish · 01/08/2012 21:48

Oh dear. There's been another horrible mistake.

I don't seem to have been shortlisted.

I'm sure it's just an oversight.

fastcaaah · 01/08/2012 21:38

Am stupidly excited to have made the shortlist! Grin

I feel all amazed and excited to even get on short list and have absolutely no one to tell. I did tell DD (aged 2). She really couldn't have been less interested.

SparklingGoldMedals · 01/08/2012 17:56

Sad We won two of me today as well. Mine wasn't clever enough obviously.

VicarGoingForGoldInKungFu · 01/08/2012 17:55

TwiggysWittyOlympicNameChange · 01/08/2012 17:50
