I am supposed to be getting a new roof put on this weekend, as this one has leaked for ten years and now has bloody pigeons living in it. The roofers should be here by now, and they are not. Probably because it's pissing down, and the forecast says it will continue to do so for approximately the next twelve years.

I know it's your fault. Everything else is.

Do something, or I'm off to netmums.

Do you think if I snuck a large tray of bacon sarnies with crushed sleeping tablets sprinkled liberally in them out to where they are 'working' they might shut the fuck up? Hmm

Number44 · 22/06/2012 10:00

What's that you say? your roof is worrying you? Mine never does. We work so hard you see.

My DR (dear roof) and I have an amazing relationship entirely based on mutual trust and admiration. It is simply gawjus My DR wouldn't dream of getting a hole in and as for the pigeons i'd be glad of the opportunity to colour match their 50 shades of grey with my farrow and ball walls

Sorry LeBOF, it sounds like every single roofer/builder/noisy workman in the whole world is currently outside my kitchen window making an almighty racket but not actually doing very much except scratching their arses

Doesn't look good for your roof...

Yes you are being unreasonable and some people don't even have a roof. Or pigeons.

ShirleyKnot · 22/06/2012 09:51

Not this again? Hmm

ANTagony · 22/06/2012 09:51

Think of all that pigeon pie you could be making.

LeB0F · 22/06/2012 09:50

Can you check and see if the [raspberry] face is in your roof?

I don't want it to fly away and get lost...

TheFallenMadonna · 22/06/2012 09:44

My roof would never leak because I know how to manage its behaviour.

Pagwatch · 22/06/2012 09:40

I have a fabulous roof

LeB0F · 22/06/2012 09:39

Well, I'm glad to see this is being taken seriously.
