why can't I write separate lines at the moment? it's just coming up as blocks of text.

I haven't done anything to my computer, but for some reason, hitting the enter key doesn't post as a separate line.

so, for example, this should be a new line.

as should this.

(it's going to post as separate lines now, isn't it, to make me look a total muppet?)
