If Fathers for Justice invade again

will they still be welcome?

I'm referring to the thread in the Feminism/Women's Rights section -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/a1419965-Agenda-much

where Justine said:

"an invasion - ie let's go on and tell those mumsnetters why they've got it all wrong - isn't necessarily the same as trolling tbh (ie deliberately misleading/antagonising). I think we ought to be able to be robust enough to be able to debate the issue, with the caveat, of course, that if visitors turn out merely to be here to wind up or hear to spread hatred then they are not welcome"

It appears that as long as they promote their agenda in PARD then no harm done. Is that a fair assessment?

and a load of other people... the vast majority of tweets say WTF? so I think the say nothing technique is doing just fine!

TeWihara · 16/03/2012 15:18

I can't even find them on fb, so high is there profile Hmm

Ben Goldacre tweeted his Confused over this campaign earlier too.

mcmooncup · 15/03/2012 18:46

Justine rocks.

My favourite bit being "Sent from my iPhone"

AliceHurled · 14/03/2012 11:39

How did you miss that SAF? It even made it onto the highlighted threads listing.

PosiePumblechook · 14/03/2012 10:57

I would love to go along as a big pair of Mumsnet pants! Or take my husband and sons with a placard saying that they, as feminists, love Mumsnet!!!

HandDivedScallopsrgreat · 14/03/2012 10:42

M&S sub-let a a unit where they originally had one of their food stores, to Hooters in Bristol. Hooters have now shut down that franchise in Bristol though due to not enough interest!

swallowedAfly · 14/03/2012 10:19

what happened with hooters and M&S?

please can someone explain what the issue is with M&S?

AliceHurled · 14/03/2012 07:45

Oh so conflicted! M and S are still in my boycott list after Hooters. What to do?

solidgoldbrass · 14/03/2012 00:44

Ooh, shall we go along and point and laugh?

LineRunner · 13/03/2012 22:46

Most of my hours today were spent talking at length to my dear father, and helping my dear son with his school stuff and washing and chatting.

GrimmaTheNome · 13/03/2012 22:43

And all about the 'Anti-Male Hatred' by mumsnet

Right. This is forum on which the commonest way of referring to a men is DH, DP, DB, DF. The D is for 'Dear'. Most of us mean it.

NormaStanleyFletcher · 13/03/2012 22:29

Oh my - they are going to demonstrate outside MnS on oxford street on saturday

Say pants to M&S apparently

And all about the 'Anti-Male Hatred' by mumsnet.

Never let it be said that they avoid tabloid capitalisation of a word when it Could Have Been Avoided

AyeRobot · 13/03/2012 22:11

That M&S letter is brilliant. Like a parent refusing to get involved in the children's squabbles. Which is ironic given the names involved...

swallowedAfly · 13/03/2012 22:08

"Mr Harris has manipulated the press by feeding it tendentious accounts of these proceedings, enabled to do so because he has been able hypocritically to shelter behind the very privacy of the proceedings which hitherto has prevented anyone correcting his misrepresentations."

bezopt.

swallowedAfly · 13/03/2012 22:08

yay - i shall buy my lunch there and some socks and pants for ds tomorrow to say thank you Smile

runningforthebusinheels · 13/03/2012 20:43

Grin Grin Grin

ThisIsExtremelyVeryNotGood · 13/03/2012 20:40

I am loving Justine's reply to their communications too. Nice one Justine :)

LineRunner · 13/03/2012 20:38

This is not justice.

This is M&N justice.

TunipTheVegemal · 13/03/2012 20:34

oh dear.

M&S won't know what's hit them when as many as 4 or 5 F4J members stage a massive protest outside one of their stores.

runningforthebusinheels · 13/03/2012 20:31

Yay for M&S! I shall make a point of buying my mother her Mothers Day present there.

NormaStanleyFletcher · 13/03/2012 20:27

hahaha

Letter from M&S to you know who

Dear Nadine

We have received your note and read all the accompanying background.

This is clearly a matter between Fathers 4 Justice and Mumsnet and we do not think it is appropriate for us to become involved or comment on the issues you are discussing.

For your information, we have no plans to change our promotional activity with Mumsnet. We are an apolitical, inclusive business and we openly welcome all customers to our stores.

Thanks for taking the time to contact us.

Kind regards

Simon Hoskins

NormaStanleyFletcher · 13/03/2012 19:41

Hmm - one article from the telegraph which states the judgement of the judge,

Another article which is from the daily fail based on an interview with the estranged dad, and the daughter who called him to spite her mum when she was a teenager.
