  1. ditch the Biscuit Bear Thanks and Wink
  1. have yellow as an option to highlight my posts
  1. introduce Cake [beer] and [boil]
  1. get a 'lol' filter. anyone loling gets an immediate lifetime ban.

By making me Mumsnets dictator and everyone else my minions, this would vastly improve the place.

Oh and I'll need a much, much bigger red button than everyone else.

I would like a cuntworm emoticon. It can be pink.

Change the title of aibu to rants and debates (that'll stop the "aibu to ask your favourite teabag?" Threads)

I shall be back.

Search function on iPhone app. Thanks

tethersend · 25/02/2012 18:58

We should have MN Oscars at the end of the year.

dearprudence · 25/02/2012 18:53

I'd quite like to be able to 'follow' posters so I can stalk them but I haven't really thought it through, so may be a shit idea.

Also, if you could 'like' posts, you could search for most-liked posts that day, that week, or whatever.

BabyGiraffes · 25/02/2012 18:52

Improvements to the phone app version could include being able to flip individual threads (oldest to newest or the other way round). I'm Angry every time I have to flip everything back and forth because new topics I want to read from the beginning whereas some I am watching/part of are huge and I only want to read the newest posts.

MordecaiAndTheRigbys · 25/02/2012 18:45

yy quiches need their own place

picnicbasketcase · 25/02/2012 18:45

Oh, boil as in 'squeezing pus' type thing? I thought it was an updated Angry suggestion, like boiling with rage

MitchieInge · 25/02/2012 18:45

more saints

saint of the day

or one patron saint at least, or one for each message board

(sorry, think is Lenten fervour or something)

webchat with the Pope

BearlyThere · 25/02/2012 18:43

Oh pitting cliques somewhere fucking else.

BearlyThere · 25/02/2012 18:43

Edit.
(for like 2 mins)
No shit pictures/icons
. Putting real pics in like twitter.

mybrainsthinkingfuckyouagain · 25/02/2012 18:41

allow green + and red - of posts you like and dislike and let the bunfights commence [evil]
then top rated posts - usually the funniest - into another thread so I can have a laugh without wasting four hours on here

tethersend · 25/02/2012 18:37

To be able to put photos/pictures in posts.

And to ban everyone else so that I can run MN.

NotInMyDay · 25/02/2012 18:36

The ability to bookmarks threads on the app version.

Please! Oh please!

ggirl · 25/02/2012 18:36

get rid of AIBU
but have hidden now so I'm fine but I do think it encourages shitty/bitchy posts even on non aibu threads

MordecaiAndTheRigbys · 25/02/2012 18:35

That wink smiley has to go, it offends my senses everytime I see it!

CotherMuckingFunt · 25/02/2012 18:32

Definitely need a baking topic. And the namechanging colour thingy.... in fact, just read CappyHunt's post as mine.

forestschoolmum · 25/02/2012 18:21

why doesbump to teens jump from toddlers to teenagers do parents of primary school children not need advice or ideas or not have problems or am i missing a link somewhere?

CappyHunt · 25/02/2012 13:41

Baking Topic, yes please.
Definitely agree with a namechanging OP's posts remaining the same colour within a thread.

OliviaMumsnet · 25/02/2012 13:37

No boils ever.

LadyNada · 25/02/2012 12:46

yyy about the name changing BUT sometimes people start a thread with a seasonal name change, and then continue posting after they've changed back to their usual name.

How about the OP's posts are always highlighted, even when they change names?

frasersmummy · 25/02/2012 12:42

purple roses thats the most sensible suggestion re names I have ever heard

dont allow people to post on the same thread with different names.. i second that!!
