Because there are so many. And they are so unpleasant.

Pretty please...

That was to HQ not anyone on this thread

BoysAreLikeDogs · 27/01/2012 15:48

yo Katie

redlac · 27/01/2012 15:48

Just move them all to a special topic then I can hid the fucking thing. I despair of some attitude and I am now just click hid on any thread that contains benefits or cap in them

KatieMiddleton · 27/01/2012 15:47

x-posted with everyone.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 27/01/2012 15:47

Hello darling Paggy

I am sorry that the fuckwits are having their party on MN

sigh

KatieMiddleton · 27/01/2012 15:46

It is a special kind of attention seeking to start a thread to show everyone your oh-so-clever-but-not-the-least-bit-original opinion. The really special bit is that having tried to express this opinion on other threads and been ignored/disagreed with/made to look a fool with rational logic they feel that anyone would be interested.

Sad. Very sad.

Pagwatch · 27/01/2012 15:45

I think it is both Mary.

I think it is sometimes stupidity and sometimes 'i am not fighting to have my voice heard, I need a thread that places my view front and centre'.

OP posts:
BoysAreLikeDogs · 27/01/2012 15:43

Mary yes I think the OPs DO think their point is so original and important that it warrants a thread all of it's own, hubris r us innit

[sarcastic face]

I have never asked for anything before. Well once, but that was years ago.

And I was nearly voted queen of mumsnet.

That must count for something

And there are more today.

redlac · 27/01/2012 15:35

YY to everything Pag has said

Sevenfold · 27/01/2012 15:32

PLEASE MN HQ DO SOMETHING THE DLA BASHING THREADS ARE JUST VILE

KatieMiddleton · 26/01/2012 15:18

Could you defecate love all over them instead? Is that allowed? What's MNHQ's stance on amorous defecation?

Hullygully · 26/01/2012 15:15

I'd shoot em but they took my gun away Sad

KatieMiddleton · 26/01/2012 15:06

YY. To everything.

I reported this thread again to MNHQ and they said they'd look into it but help!

I am going to revive my unreasonable suggestions of things to ban on MN. I have decided I was not at all unreasonable and was actually showing great foresight. I am Sad

AbsofCroissant · 26/01/2012 15:03

Listen to PagWatch, she's making rather serious and pertinent points.

I complain all the time about everythingy, but Pags is more discerning so listen to her.

TeWihara · 26/01/2012 14:00

Please HQ, it isn't obvious which threads are about it now.

PinotMN · 26/01/2012 13:52

Oh me too, Paggers, it takes A Big Bad Thing for me to criticise them.

But swathes of MN are no-go areas at the moment and that is A Big Bad Thing.

You're so right with the spilling personal info thing. So, so wrong.

Pagwatch · 26/01/2012 13:49

I love mnhq. I am broadly a big suck up.

I think this is a terrible misjudgement.

Vulnerable people are spilling personal information in a desperate attempt to make others understand. People are drawing battle lines between themselves and other posters. Reasonable posting has all but disappeared.
It's awful.

PinotMN · 26/01/2012 13:45

It's almost as if HQ are enjoying the dramz.

Pagwatch · 26/01/2012 13:41

The policy of just letting new threads spout up is working really well I think.

If by working well I mean creating terrible ill feeling, upset and resentment of course.

C'mon mn. It would just need a 'here is a big benefits cap thread. Can you please post all your points here' and stick them all in there.

I don't think either side of the argument are enjoying it or learning anything. And those not invested either way are mostly Shock

Gwan MNHQ - there's about 6 in In the News alone. Shouldn't ITN be limited to important threads like the possible break up of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, which will lead to me becoming the New Mrs Depp (+ DP. I may have to have my own male Harem).

Surely that's more important than "the government are being annoying" ad nauseum
