OK, after a frantic few minutes of unseemly arguing hours of deliberation at MNHQ, here is the shortlist of contenders for the title of Mumsnet's Best Christmas Namechange 2011.

The shortlist is final and the shortlist judges can't be swayed, even by chocolate so no argy bargy please

Please come and vote for the namechange you think is the funniest/smartest.

The poll closes at midnight on December 23rd. And a small but perfectly formed prize is being rustled up for the winner.

Well i voted for deep pan cos i am going to pizza hut on xmas day (live away tis crap). Tis veryclose between her and carol at the moment.
But i wouldve voted for jeviens cos i am cultured and all that innit.
Or for newbie natalie aka 999helpmypuddingsonfire but she didn't put herself forward.
