Are you a leetle bit drinky?

OP posts:
Pascha · 25/11/2011 22:13

Why does it sometimes bring up 500 messages, none of which are remotely what I want? My search parameters must be shit.

Pascha · 25/11/2011 22:12

stop skaking thongs. I hate Advanced Search. It donesn't have a facility for reading my mind when I only have very vague idea what was posted when and by whom.

Yep, mostly to look for 'that thread I know I read last week on X'. Find it mildly stalkerish that you can search for all posts by a particular nickname.

ImpYCelyn · 25/11/2011 22:10

Oh, too late.

Gincognito · 25/11/2011 22:10

Yay me

ImpYCelyn · 25/11/2011 22:09

Ah! Thanks, Tech - I was wondering about that drop-down menu...

Isn't the whole point of a name change for some to still be recognisable, but not searchable?

cjbartlett · 25/11/2011 22:06

Doesn't it annoy you though Crev, when posters cahnge one syllabub of their name to confound those sort of searches assuming it were possible?

OP posts:
RoughShooting · 25/11/2011 22:03

Yep. I search for baby names to quickly find opinions on ones I like, without having to start my own thread.

ME!

I'd like to be able to search 2 names at once...

As in - AtYourCervix AND ChaosTrulyReigns

whicho would give

432 threads where we have both posted.
