can all my posts be deleted and my account?...

Ive tried posting nicely on this site 3 or 4 times now and ive just been called a liar or a troll and actual curses, ive been nothing but nice to ppl and never given anyone reason to think im lying or a beeeyatch...nothing i write is ever good enough...
there are a few ppl on here who are genuinly good and want to help out and i thank them ppl greatly.
i just posted my new thread edited so that noone could accuse my case of being "so outrageous" that i must be a lying cow but a quick scour of the net has confirmed my fears , that this is a bully-boy site.
I am appalled to say that the moderators here ...dont , i found personal attacks rife and even when i reported them i was told they would stay...and then on ONE occasion i say "OH COME ON"! when i was thrown abuse ...and I was warned...and THEN my whole thread was deleted when it had crucial advice i was relying on for tommorrow written on it my those few helpful members. all that effort and their effort i wanted to utilise just gone to pot because the moderators would rather delete my thread and the advice i recieved than remove bullies from thier site and thier threads...
so please remove me and all i have wrote...
i am better than this place.

This thread is a good one to link into threads when people complain that MN has gone down hill and there used to be no bitchyness or unkindness.

Sparklingbrook · 18/03/2017 15:16

I had only been on MN a month when this thread started.

There are some real blast from the past names on it. Grin

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 18/03/2017 15:12

I think RK is the problem in this case

Mynestisfullofempty · 18/03/2017 15:11

What a bizarre thing to do Rk2076! What was the point of resurrecting this?

NoelHeadbands · 18/03/2017 14:44

Ah the days when MNHQ didn't just auto delete threads and posts because someone wah wah wahed

BoBaraMoMara · 18/03/2017 14:38

Rk2076

What? Why did you resurrect a zombie thread to say this?

QueenMortificado · 18/03/2017 14:10

This thread is 6 years old! It does show that things really haven't changed - always have and always will be trolls!

i did call her bonzo though, i think. not my finest hour. but at that point she was being deliberately obtuse to wind people up, and it worked. Grin

i'm not sure if bonzo qualifies as an 'actual curse' though... i call the children bonzo quite a lot. mm.

madwomanintheattic · 16/11/2011 20:25

are you sure it wasn't her interpretation? 'are you calling me a bad mother?' 'i'm not a bad mother - he can have a drink at school' etc etc ad infinitum. (except when school are negligent, not me.)

i didn't notice anyone saying it personally, but wouldn't rule it out. there were occasions when a bit of straight talking might have been helpful. but she wasn't listening to substance, just batting off anything that didn't tally with a decidedly fixed world view.

and i will eat my hat if she's a scientist. Grin

MammaBrussels · 16/11/2011 20:06

Feenie I think someone did call her a bad mother as I remember thinking "that's off" but I wouldn't stake my life on it.

Feenie · 16/11/2011 18:40

No one said she was a bad mother, MammaBrussels - but many posters (including myself) pointed out it was neglectful not to give a child with serious dehydration issues a drink in the morning.

Oblomov · 16/11/2011 15:01

I think Op is probably not in the right 'frame of mind' for MN. If you post in Education and then get lots of advcie from SN posters (who normally are THE most supportive group on MN), and you can't see that you are being helped and supported, then I think there must be something seriously wrong.

KickArseQueen · 16/11/2011 14:28

Oh how I wish there was a "like" button!!

MammaBrussels · 16/11/2011 14:07

Violet

I agree with what you've said above and with the above posters. On the previous thread you were called a bad mother NO ONE has the right to call you a bad mother (especially someone who has never met you). If someone said this to me I would feel bullied too. But, you got some good advice, ignored it and failed to take any responsibility for your son. You were expecting everyone to agree with you and feel sorry for you. I really hope that for your sake and your sons' sake you get all this sorted with school and are able to work with them to get the best outcome for your family.

Pancakeflipper · 15/11/2011 19:54

VIOLET - yes I am raising my voice at you, to make sure you can hear me.

Friday evening seemed to turn into some sort of stamina test really didn't it?
But the important issue is how is your son? Have you spoken with the school? Have you spoken to the Governors?

If you do leave here will you go to a site that specialises in the areas your son struggles with to get support. And also for your anxiety and other health issues. There is support on this forum too.

Nag nag nag

crazynanna · 15/11/2011 19:40

Me too,Pinot
I did read a post earlier in the thread by OP saying something like 'doesn't this site welcome new memebers?'
Well,I am fairly new,and I was very welcomed!
I don't take forums' too seriously, and by that I mean I just use them for a bit of banter and company
Of course, there are serious topics, that deem serious responses, and I think it's a chance you take.
I think,in my humble experience of forums,MN is a nice place to be.Smile

lisaro · 15/11/2011 19:05

Don't forget to pick up your teddy from the corner on your way out......

ISawPINOTSnoggingSantaClaus · 15/11/2011 18:52

I missed it all

madwomanintheattic · 15/11/2011 05:20

i suspect the water bottle thread might have earned me my first ever post deletion, but i hope not. i went and ate pizza instead and the thread evaporated at some point in the night.

but yy, lots of sn posters offering sage and experienced advice. (and getting extremely frustrated by it being smacked back in their faces)

a namechange really won't cut it.

vi, i hope you find somewhere you fit in. in terms of both forums and schools, but i suspect you may find it difficult. listening is a valuable skill.

KickArseQueen · 15/11/2011 00:15
