OK, this is how it goes. Vote the following according to if you think they are personal attacks, then add your own to the bottom of the list.

oh no, SGB - addressing a group of people doesn't count as a PA. also covered on the other thread.

it is only when directed at a single poster, it seems.

so sweeping generalisations about benefits scroungers/single parents/working mothers/whatver can be as offensive as you like - presumably comes under the opinion heading.

Ooh ooh, can you clarify this for me. I once told someone their comment was bitchy. They accused me of calling them a bitch. I think that calling someone a bitch is a personal attack, but calling someone's comments bitchy isn't and that they are very different?
