are we allowed to carry on discussing this?

OP posts:

You aren't dull at all.

I've never had an AIBU flaming because everytime I think I might start an AIBU thread I think a bit harder and then decide against it. That said I started one at the weekend but it was fairly non contentious.

ShowOfHands · 09/11/2011 18:22

I've never been flamed, had a thread deleted etc, no classics but I have been in the roundup several times. Usually as a NB at the end.

NB: Showy is still dull.

ShowOfHands · 09/11/2011 18:21

Do I need an opinion on dbf/tortoises/llamas to post here or can I just schlep in and tell you I've never had a post deleted in any of my 8 million namechanges?

I am that dull.

I have loads of posts deleted since I name changed but none deleted in the nearly 4 years before under my old name. I think I must have had a personality transplant at the same time. I've never been banned though.

BecauseImWorthIt · 09/11/2011 18:07

I had a thread deleted, complained, and MNHQ apologised to me [even smugger git emoticon]

MsBrian · 09/11/2011 18:00

Oh the "poo thread" thread went poof just when I thoughtt of something clever to say - that we need a Poo Troll Patrol.
The idea was too good to remain unshared, I feel.

Tick

I think Tick....?

I've run out of chest for the badges - will you be issuing sashes?

CalatalieSisters · 09/11/2011 17:29

Some recent deletions do suggest a much wider deletion policy. The ones deleting links to the MN Rejects forum for example. Hard to guess what the policy might be -- "delete posts that might make trouble" perhaps? Or perhaps they've gone down the "act utilitarian" route.

I once posted (almost) exactly the same thing as another poster and MNHQ deleted the other post but not mine

mjin - Grin I guess everyone of your posts was worth it then!!

I woudn't mind being deleted if I knew what the hell I was supposed to have been done.

I mean I got one deleted the other day... a poster has a name something like AbsoluteTwerp and she was being horrible to another, very vulnerable poster - digging away at her and I asked 'AT' why she felt the need to live up to her name.

It was deleted but the digging posts remained?!

ChippingInNeedsSleep · 09/11/2011 17:15

BIWI - smug git.
