SayCoolNowSayWhip · 04/11/2011 10:45

VajazzleMyFoof · 04/11/2011 10:35

Blush yes i know but im sure a crow tryed to chase me once with a look of menace in its eyes. Or it could have been a Raven, Jackdaw or Sparrow Grin

SayCoolNowSayWhip · 04/11/2011 10:34

Crows, ravens.... They're big scary birds innit! (Goes Cockney for effect)

Although they're pretty smart buggers

ColdSancerre · 04/11/2011 10:30

That was fiction vajazzle.

VajazzleMyFoof · 04/11/2011 10:25

Have you never seen that film 'The Birds' werent they crows. Pecking people to death and pecking oue eyes Shock

ColdSancerre · 04/11/2011 10:25

Herons eat ducklings too. DP has a picture of a duckling flying along upside down in the mouth of a mouth, beak open as it is squawking away.

ColdSancerre · 04/11/2011 10:24

Yes but big things kill little things in nature. It's the way. Like killer whales and seals. Still love orcas.

I'm going to start campaigning for more corvid love and understanding.

VajazzleMyFoof · 04/11/2011 10:22

Crows eat ducklings too. Ive seen it with my own eye.
Was traumatised for months. Poor little duckling.

VajazzleMyFoof · 04/11/2011 10:22

Nope i live in Stoke. Yes jackdaws, thats what i meant. Blush

Thumbwitch · 04/11/2011 10:21

Magpies are NOT lovely they are bastards! All of them. The UK ones kill the little birds and the Australian ones are just bastards.

I have nothing against jackdaws, ravens and rooks - although I have my doubts about crows, ever since reading Watership Down.

ColdSancerre · 04/11/2011 10:19

Ravens don't have grey heads. Jackdaws? Do you live in the highlands as they could be hooded crows?

ColdSancerre · 04/11/2011 10:18

Crows and magpies are lovely. And ravens and rooks and jackdaws. Stop being corvidist.

VajazzleMyFoof · 04/11/2011 10:18

Not crows, you wimp Grin. Im on about them bloody great big Raven birds with a grey head.
Have just googled it. Smile

SayCoolNowSayWhip · 04/11/2011 10:15

Dem's da crows, Vajazz. Big scary things, they are.

VajazzleMyFoof · 04/11/2011 10:11

What are them big black scary birds which you see at Graveyards.

THEY SCARE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thumbwitch · 04/11/2011 09:42

Magpies scare me more - especially here - they are mean! they divebomb people in their own backyards, and some poor little boy lost an eye recently from a magpie attack Shock. Have you seen bike helmets with silly plastic spikes sticking up all over, a la Sonic the Hedgehog? That's to ward off magpie attacks.

Sorry, that's a bit heavy for this thread. Blush

SayCoolNowSayWhip · 03/11/2011 19:30

Aw shucks. Crows scare me a little....

happymole · 03/11/2011 18:05

Ducks are over SayCool It's all about crows now...

They can remember your face and plot revenge

SayCoolNowSayWhip · 03/11/2011 17:33

Dreams gave me the gist of it, it's true MNHQ. I think it basically went 'you're all naughty apart from SayCool whose knowledge of duck genitalia and dolphin sexual activities far surpass ours; therefore she should be queen of everything MN'

That was about it, right? Grin
