I apologise if this has been raised already but the bookmark facility seems to have disappeared. Has it gone for good?

TIA

Mine are finally back. Thank you!

whysolate · 07/07/2011 21:39

I have checked everything. JavaScript enabled, browser unknown, checked that my preferences are set to Mumsnet New, but still no bookmark. It's driving me crazy!

I hadn't changed anything I just logged in as usual and it had gone!!

Malkuth · 07/07/2011 12:23

Mine are still missing!

handsomeharry · 06/07/2011 09:13

Logged in this morning and its all back to normal. Talk Topics, Discussions of the day all in normal format and bookmarks are working. Hurray!

No doubt I'll be back in a couple of weeks. Grin

Malkuth · 06/07/2011 08:46

Still missing and am also getting Topics etc in a weird format too.

handsomeharry · 05/07/2011 21:16

I've now managed to check and MN is definitely not 'restricted'. Am majorly impressed I managed to find it!

handsomeharry · 05/07/2011 20:18

Salmon did you do anything to fix it yourself? Javascript is enabled but I have no idea how to check my browser?

SalmonPinkCanary · 05/07/2011 20:13

hands I had the same ishoo with the Topics all being open. It was all very strange and annoying.

I have just lost the ability to bookmark too!

handsomeharry · 05/07/2011 18:08

Everything else is still 'funny' too. Just what I mentioned before - 'Topics' are all open and Discussions of the Day and Most Active both open at the same time.

handsomeharry · 05/07/2011 17:57

JavaScript is enabled too. I dont know how to check my browser - sorry.

Malkuth · 05/07/2011 17:55

I have scripting enabled and still no bookmarks Sad

DamianTech · 05/07/2011 17:23

@handsomeharry

Glad it's not just me!

It sounds like you have JavaScript disabled. You can find instructions on how to re-enable it here.

If that page claims JavaScript is enabled, you may have just blocked it for Mumsnet.com. IE can do this if you put the site into an "Untrusted" or "Restricted" zone/group, so check your browser to see if Mumsnet is blacklisted or not.

If you still get these issues, do let us know.

I also can't click on anyone's name. Not that I really want to but I always have been able to in the past.

handsomeharry · 05/07/2011 13:25

Glad it's not just me!

Malkuth · 05/07/2011 13:09

Mine aren't working either and when I follow DamienTech's link it also says browser unknown.

Preview also not working.

handsomeharry · 05/07/2011 12:41

There is definitely something weird going on. Normally I just see Discussions of the Day and click on Most Active. Both are 'open' at the same time IYSWIM? Also when I click on the 'Topics' all the topic sections are 'open'.

I just tried to preview this message and preview isn't working either.

handsomeharry · 05/07/2011 12:34

Hi - my bookmarks arent working again! My browser is IE9. When I click on the link to verify JavaScript enabled by Mumsnet it says Browser:Unknown. Is there anything I can do to fix this as I keep having problems with bookmarks. Thanks.

SalmonPinkCanary · 04/07/2011 20:02

Ooooh, I can bookmark again! Smile

It all seems to be fine now. Heaven knows what happened but thanks for all your help,

S

Thank you Damian.

The page states that both Cookies and Javascript are 'on'.

Yes, preview Post is only failing for replies and it does just 'sit'.

Many thanks

Hi SalmonPinkCanary,

Could you visit this page to verify you have JavaScript enabled for Mumsnet?

I assume preview post is only failing for replies (rather than new threads) - and that it simply sits there and doesn't take you off the page?

Then you need to go turn it on in your customize options!

AmazingBouncingFerret · 03/07/2011 20:48

I'm not on classic i'm mumsnet nouveau. Grin

Tee2072 · 03/07/2011 20:42

You can't be on classic and it has to be set in your preferences!

I do think the roll over thing is silly. It should just be there!

AmazingBouncingFerret · 03/07/2011 20:41

Probably not Tee...
