Yes it's been a long and somewhat painful wait but it's here at last!

Get yourself into the iTunes store, search for Mumsnet and it will appear before your very eyes. It is not a mirage.

Android app following soon! (nb the mobile version of Mumsnet is at already available at m.mumsnet.com)

Hope you like it...

(Any complaints to [email protected] Grin)

I love it GrinGrinGrin

Whatevertheweather · 08/06/2011 14:14

Can't get it to work either - has downloaded fine, homescreen opens but the closes down as soon as it says verifying connection Sad

Am at home with full strength wireless connection on my iPhone. Any suggestions??

prolificwillybreeder · 08/06/2011 14:12

Well this is good!

Creamandcustard · 08/06/2011 14:10

When I go to 'threads I'm watching' it seems to list them in a totally random way rather than with the latest post. Confused It also doesn't show if any new posts have been added.

I do like now being able to see how many posts are on a thread before opening it though Grin

Rindercella · 08/06/2011 14:06

Love it! Thank you GrinGrinGrin

RunningDay · 08/06/2011 14:05

What is this bookmarking everyone's mentioning? I never bookmark threads. What does it do?

PotteringAlong · 08/06/2011 14:01

it won't let me download it :( have tried 5 times and itunes keeps on telling me part of the file is corrupt?!

WorrisomeHeart · 08/06/2011 14:01

Hmm hate to be the sole voice of dissent, but I prefer MN mobile - not happy with the lack of bookmarks or customise options. Are you going to withdraw the MN mob option now the app is launched?

Do like the new smiley option though. Smile

PinotGrigiosKittens · 08/06/2011 14:00

I have a new Blackberry - can I have the app or do you need an iphone?

MrsPlesWearsAFez · 08/06/2011 14:00

So it's just me that can't get it open then?

lostinwales · 08/06/2011 13:58

Thank you!

GypsyMoth · 08/06/2011 13:54

panicking because i like to be able to hide threads!

and i can't....and no bookmark

minipen · 08/06/2011 13:54

there is hope for me after all, I can't get it to connect to individual posts so may get some work done

BrainSurgeon · 08/06/2011 13:54

Hurraaaaaaaaaay!

BTW Justine saw you on JK last night - good but very short, wish that was a proper debate with a proper host!

PersonalClown · 08/06/2011 13:53

Ooooh this is so cool!Grin
As you can tell I'm easily pleased!

Scootergrrrl · 08/06/2011 13:52

A mumsnet app AND the mumsnet rules out in Kindle all in the same day! (secretly glad DH is away and can't mock my delight Grin)

minipen · 08/06/2011 13:51

I will never get anything done!

RunningDay · 08/06/2011 13:50

Hmmm, only way I can find to refresh a thread is to click back, and go back in, or to flip it twice.

Could we have a BBC-Newsy feature where pulling the thread down and releasing makes it refresh, that would be fab!

Love the smileys though! Smile

BecauseImWorthIt · 08/06/2011 13:50

Ans you've made it free too!

RunningDay · 08/06/2011 13:47

Dolly, you can still 'Watch' a discussion by clicking the + sign at the top of the page.

DollyTwat · 08/06/2011 13:45

It's nice but no bookmarking

MadameOvary · 08/06/2011 13:44

Ooh, love the smilies Grin

RunningDay · 08/06/2011 13:41

Ooooh, is there a way of refreshing the topic while you're in it?

TheSkiingGardener · 08/06/2011 13:41

Been playing with it. Can't see all a thread title before clicking it which adds an air of mystery!!!

Umami · 08/06/2011 13:40

Ooooh, nice! Very easy to use.

However...when I log out, I can just press the 'back' button, and I'm logged back in again, with user name on display and everything, and no need to enter password.

Any chance of adding in 'last 15 minutes'?
