Can we have the topic button back where it was please

change is upon you.... sad, but true, in this case at least...

after 6 mnths you may get used to it (and then something else will change!)

Why couldn't they have removed one of the other ways though? If the intent was to make it less cluttered.

I liked it there because that's where I look the most - to click on other links like active convos, threads i'm on, last hour. Rarely look elsewhere tbh.

If you're at the bottom of the page having read the thread from top to bottom you can click on

"popular forums" under shortcuts - and of course there's the links to the most popular forums underneath that as well

'cmon you Luddites. Isn't 5 (read them 5) ways of getting to the Topics page in one screen (good work Baroque) enough to suggest that it was redundant? Anything that makes a web page less cluttered is a good thing in my book.

I think it looks messier without it. Before, the two rows of links (where the Topics link was) were roughly the same length. Now the first one is quite a bit shorter than the second.

Oh ok. I've found the other topic buttons now (bloody well hidden if you ask me - anyone would think we were not meant to find them. Hmm Thanks for pointing them out. Now I know, I shall use them. Grudgingly. Grin

honestly - it's still there - they've just moved it (well there are 5 options including 2 that say "topics" - look on my profile - I've done screen shot and circled the 5 options Grin

Make that 5 ways. Both 'Mumsnet Talk' banners (one at the top and the one on the RHS) click through to Topics
