Unwelcome visitors - and recent "unpopular" threads

Hello

We thought you should know that we've had a few "visitors" lately who have, collectively, been hellbent on stirring up bunfights on the boards.

They're not your average hairy trucker/bored schoolboy/silly perve but a group from another (now defunct, it seems) forum.

They were behind the Unpopular Opinions thread - and a fair few other threads that have kicked off recently.

We're on the case.

But we would appreciate your help with "Hoovering" up any visitors our Ban button may have missed.

So do report any suspicions using the Report link, and we promise to check 'em out - though it make take us a while

I had to make a new account just to ask emailed mumsnet to no avail(sorry I know you're busy) previous name was ladypumpington. Is it because I've been blocked from using mumsnet because if it is I don't know why, I have not knowingly hurt anyone ever and if I have done I apologise.

I didn't post anything just wanted to have a read. You are so right though when you said about how there are quite a few posters who really do seem to just want to stir up the regulars...laughable cos they're not very good at it really, as they're so obvious Hmm

I'm off to make my hot milk and honey now...sad I know but it helps me sleep...well until the babbie starts using my insides as a gym! Wink

Hope I haven't caused problem by suggesting teacup. I know I have namechanged (am usually SoMuchToBits) but have made no secret of this, and have been here some years. Was all done with good intentions, but sadly has coincided with some other MN problems. Hope all is ok. Norm.
