I see we have a new wine glass emoticon! Jolly good! But some of us would prefer a good old cup of tea.

Do you think you could cater for the likes of us too?

Lots of love,

Norman x

Lol, yes , Playmobil is German. In fact I am quite surprised I like tea as much as I do, seeing as they don't drink so much of it in Germany....

norman of course playmobil comes from the continent so you're swigging lager out of stubbies - i'll message you to answer the other q Wink

NormanTheForeman · 05/02/2011 17:51

I just name-changed back to my usual name temporarily, then back to Norman again! Grin

I'm glad you like the pics. My mates and I have been waterskiing this afternoon, and are having another BBQ this evening, at the campsite. We`are staying in the camper van (Myself, Brian, Michael and Cuthbert) and tent (Len and Ken). At the moment we are enjoying a cuppa in Bossy Ross's lifeboat cafe.

Cheers!

BTW I love love love the PlayMobil pictures. Ha!

Espec. Norman doing the BBQ!

LadyOfTheManor · 05/02/2011 17:44

I'm all confused-how are you logging on with 2 names?

NormanTheForeman · 05/02/2011 17:26

By the way, am I allowed to ask what your previous name was? Or did you change it so that people wouldn't know who you were before?

I normally swig my beer from the bottle NewStig. (Playmobil don't seem to do beer cans, just bottles).

TheNewStig · 05/02/2011 17:23

Thanks Norman, it ended up as a coffee!

LOTM why bother with the mug for drinking beer, surely builders just swig it from the can? Am I right Norman? Given the state of cleanliness of most site canteens and any mugs found in there you're a brave person who'll drink tea on site, unless it's your own mug. Before now DH has had to wash the mouldy residue out the bottom of a mug to make me a brew on the odd occasion I've visited him [vom] Apologies to those builders who run a 5 cleanliness rated canteen or even a 2-3 one but I've yet to come across one.

Nearly vodka o'clock here so I'll catch up with you all tomorrow :o

NormanTheForeman · 05/02/2011 17:16

I could drink beer from a mug - but usually drink it out of the bottle....

LadyOfTheManor · 05/02/2011 17:12

Would you drink it from a mug?

NormanTheForeman · 05/02/2011 17:11

Well, I am a boy! What do you expect from a builder? Lambrini or something????? I think not!Grin

OP posts:
LadyOfTheManor · 05/02/2011 17:10

Eurgh. Beer is for boys.

NormanTheForeman · 05/02/2011 17:05

Actually I quite like Wine. And beer. But am more often a hot beverage person Grin.

I have had a trip to Lowbeach-On-Sea this afternoon with my mates, and we've been waterskiing. Thirsty work!

I bet that's a swear word on this thread

LadyOfTheManor · 05/02/2011 16:52

Ha ha ha ha !!

Cuppa? I'm sure it's coming up to Wine time?

Tikkabillajive · 05/02/2011 16:49

I feel your pain LOTM. My 3yo ds has just tipped an entire packet of Ikea straws all over the living room floor. He says he can't help me pick them up as his hands are too small Hmm

Definitely calls for a cuppa.

LadyOfTheManor · 05/02/2011 16:46

No news. My ds (11mo) just kindly tipped his scrambled eggs onto the floor-which I then stood into the carpet and blamed my husband.

Apart from that...

Tikkabillajive · 05/02/2011 16:42

Hello I am here - just popping in before I make a lovely cup of tea to go with the cranberry, oat and white chocolate cookies I have just made with dd .

Any news yet?

[cuppa]

(Just seeing if it works yet!)
