Why aren't they working?

If that works I'll look like a twat.

They weren't working in S&B earlier.

That got me nowhere at all. And some of the hyphens themselves have disappeared. I swear they were there, honest.

Do I still need to put the hyphens around every word, with no space?

space between hyphens and words

no space between hyphens and words

no space and misplaced apostrophe in hyphen's

no space and full stop.

no - you don't put a space between the words and the strikeouts that worked to start with but not any more. you have to butt them right up to the words now to work.

it's the american edit version of hyphens which is really annoying as I use that all the time and now have to change
