OOH OOOH for years i have wanted this.... a pensive emoticon

i know at first gance it looks like it would be shit, but i think lots of peeps would use it and the Hmm doesn't cut it as pensive

DanceInTheDark · 25/01/2011 10:20

and blackberry?

TrillianAstra · 25/01/2011 10:20

Gone to the Lake District? That's where VingarTits has gone too... Hmm :o

Fantastic, thank you Grin

JustineMumsnet · 25/01/2011 10:14

@Rafi

Iphone app? Are you going to have an Android app too?

(I make lovely old-fashioned sticky treacly gingerbread)

Yes that's coming too - will be about 2-3 weeks after the iphone app.

DanceInTheDark · 25/01/2011 10:13

The bear is shite and quichey , the wine is just ??? whyy? what is it for?

LadyPumpington · 25/01/2011 10:10

Phew, about time too! Grin

Do you mind adding inbox too? It is missing from the mobile version. Thanks!

JustineMumsnet · 25/01/2011 09:56

@custardo

i want a pint glass Justine.

actually on another thread i suggested a 'roving' emoticon, so periodically from time to time you can replace an emoticon like the stupid useless fuck ugly bear with say a wine glass or a bottle of vodka Grin

A pint of vodka?

Ok so it looks like the majority of those who've expressed a preference are in favour, so we'll put the wine glass on the list (won't AdamTech be pleased!) We may well replace the bear and see how we go.
NB We did try a cats bum but it really didn't work - if someone's got a really good eg... And Re rolling eyes - think too many folks anti moving bits and bobs for that one.

[make mine a double]

JustineMumsnet · 25/01/2011 09:52

@LadyPumpington

Is it just me or is the report button in a very inconvenient place on the right so if I'm using my iPhone I keep accidentally pressing it and reporting all you lovely mners I think I've done it a few times but didn't mean to! Sorry!

Iphone app is imminent, honest - we should be able to get it to apple in a couple of weeks - and then it's up to them, but hopefully soon after that.

Jacksmama · 25/01/2011 00:56

It was pretty funny the next time I said it in front of the person who'd told me off about OMG. His face was a picture of a cat's bum :o

I was just thinking that if we got all the emoticons we've been asking for, we wouldn't need to type any more. You could probably do complete sentences in emoticons only.

MrsShrekTheThird · 25/01/2011 00:39

pmsl @: oh my dog

ChippingInSmellyCheeseFreak · 25/01/2011 00:35

Jacks - you should have told them to mind their own dog gammed business [bgrin]

Oh dear - thank god/dog/other item of worship that we can't all add our own - it would make netmums look dull Xmas Grin

Jacksmama · 25/01/2011 00:28

A teacup would be good, too.

I second (third, fourth) a medal. In a suitably ironic colour, please,

For dog's sake!! :o

Tortington · 25/01/2011 00:25

on the other thread someone suggested a medal emoticon.

i think that would be used a lot and is a fab idea

Tortington · 25/01/2011 00:24

i can't believe your using the dogs name in vain

LadyPumpington · 25/01/2011 00:24

What about a teacup emoticon?
Not to upset the wine party but the air is recently quite nutty so maybe that would be a good idea?

Jacksmama · 25/01/2011 00:23

I don't have a dog :o

I started saying "oh my dog" instead of OMG when someone rather rudely pulled me up on "using the Lord's name in vain" sometime last year Hmm[cat's bum mouth emoticon]:o

Tortington · 25/01/2011 00:22
