Threads I'm On in weird order

...is this temporary or is it a new feature?? I can't see any logic to it - it's not ordered by last time I've posted OR last time anyone posted, it's just seemingly random...

it does sort it by latest post but latest post by anyone rather than latest post by you as it was previously. very annoying!

If you click on the option, it switches it to that setting, which does work. Which is fine for those who want it ordered by last time anybody posted, but if you want it the old way, it's still broken.

(I'm greedy and would like the option of both - I also like that the toggle is right there in Threads I'm On and I don't have to go up and customise)

If you're on MN new btw you can use the new bookmarking feature to automatically scroll down to your marked place in a thread - you need to activate it in Customise though.

Yeah, mine's not working. My latest posts are on this thread, but it's showing other posts as the latest.

I'm using Firefox and I'm having many (all?) of the problems that people are talking about: I specifcially came on to Site Stuf to see if it was just me Hmm

The only option I get on "Threads I'm on" is "Sort by Latest Post" but it isn't doing that - it just seems to be a random list.

I just posted on a thread I was active on (I posted on it last night, yet I only found it near the bottom of the threads, way after threads that I - or anyone else - posted on days and in some cases weeks ago). Refreshed "Threads I'm on" and it is still near the bottom Confused

This was at 10:59, so NO IT'S NOT FIXED

Ponders - yep, this is really annoying. I often want to click on one of the more recent posts and then read on from there - not have to scroll all the way down.

it doesn't take you to the latest post either now; when you click on that poster's name it takes you to the top of the thread (which is not the latest post when you are sorted to read-down-like-book)

It's just taken me 5 mins of digging to track down this thread - normally one click and it would right there towards the top of 'Threads I'm on'. Now I have to fiddle with the sort order and then scan the list by eye.

I feel like there are threads that I'm missing out on....

I clicked on 'Last posted' and its sorted them into the order which they were last posted on by anyone not just by me.

I'm not viewing the mobile version BTW - viewing in Google Chrome on a PC.

The option isn't sticking though. And the last I'm On option doesn't work - it's showing the last thread I posted on as a thread I posted on at 4 Dec 10, 7:55:42 PM. I've been here loads since then.

The option for latest post by anyone seems to work well though - thanks :) (Just a bit annoying to have to select each time!)

Apologies for all inconvenience. but I haven't changed anything in original concept ,Just added additional option , sort by :
Latest post (you can sort the thread which has latest post on)and threads I'm on (which allows you to view threads in order you are posting on threads).there is problem with mobile version .I am going to fix that ASAP.

With a bit of luck the sort order will either use a cookie or use some personal preference we can store so an order you prefer will be used for further visits to Threads I'm On...

There have been various tasks to do with Threads I'm On since much earlier in the year, so I guess it has gone under the microscope and just needs a few teething problems to be ironed out - good luck MN !!
