It would be used on awkward or angry threads in an attempt to diffuse the situation.

or as a gentle ''is it just me or is this poster clearly bonkers'' prop?

SheWillBeLoved · 12/11/2010 15:36

Another vote for one!
Think it should be mandatory to all MNetters to offer them at pre dinner drinks.

DancingThroughLife · 12/11/2010 14:48

PyramidofScotcheggs · 12/11/2010 14:25

I'm backing too, that's a great name.
I almost went to town today just for Pom bears but that would have interfered with my sitting down time.

nickelbangBANGbang · 12/11/2010 14:22

I'm backing StealthPomBear as a namechange for SPB as well! Grin

nickelbangBANGbang · 12/11/2010 14:21

Cheeeese - they are pombars, because they are Germna, and there is an umlaut (2 little dots) above the A.

its anglicized name is Pombear because Ba(umlaut)r is the german for bear.
:)

simonedeboudoir · 12/11/2010 14:19

Stealth, have you considered morphing into StealthPomBear at all? y'know, just to underline your commitment

I'm considering simonedepampas after all last night's fun and games Wink

(crosses fingers whilst frantically munching on PBs)

CheeeseOnToast · 12/11/2010 14:07

I always thought these were called Pom Bars, because we used to get the imported ones in the vending machines at swimming, which was the only time I used to have them! Blush I still call them this now...

Another backer of the pom emoticon...

Jux · 12/11/2010 14:02

Thanks for suggestion - have passed on to the emoticon-control-panel and we'll get back to you soonest.

springlamb · 12/11/2010 12:50

It's probably a trademark or something.
Maybe we could call our new emoticon a Mop Bear and they'd never know.
What is with the child with the strange hair? Too many pom bears?

MUHAHAHADascheese · 12/11/2010 12:36

Brilliant!

PhishFoodAddiction · 12/11/2010 12:26
