Please could we have a "Pom bear, anyone?" smiley?

It would be used on awkward or angry threads in an attempt to diffuse the situation.

Am now considering changing my name to TastesLikePombear...

herhonesty · 13/11/2010 12:26

vgood idea. as christmas present perhaps mn towers?

SeaShellsFiringUpTheQuattro · 13/11/2010 12:23

Please please pretty please with a glacé cherry on top mnhq!!

SlightlyJaded · 13/11/2010 12:05

Actually, what would be ideal would be a 'Pom Bear Anyone?' emoticon for diffusing awkward moments/ugly bun fights (see scenario 1) and a cuckoo clock or bottle of turps emoticon to imply bonkers posting.

But perhaps the fame is all going to my head and I am getting greedy.

Or not.

I think I may demand my own personal MN branded 3 bedroom trailer, complete with plasma screen sized internet permanently linked to MN, a fridge full of nice ham and no less than 10 crystal bowls which must be filled with Pom Bears which have to be replaced every hour.

[cuckoo clock emoticon]

TheVeryLazyLadybirdPlus1 · 13/11/2010 11:53

Backs the Pombear emoticon campaign

nickelpombear · 13/11/2010 11:46

Hee! look at meeeeee!

We can really milk this, you know.

PomBears should pay MN for the advertising...
Wink

PomBearMartini · 13/11/2010 10:15

Humph. I maintain that the notion of a limited edition PomBear is entirely feasible (I may have had too many Martinis though)

I just thought maybe any objections to an ever-growing list of smileys might be overridden if we just had it for a while.

[pombear] [pombear] Grin

TheBolter · 13/11/2010 09:19

Please? Funnily enough, I was chuckling at Pom Bears yesterday in Asda, thinking how funny they were! Guaranteed to raise a smile!

Come on, give us a Pombear. We never got the penguin one.

JarethThePomBearKing · 13/11/2010 00:49

[scowl] at whoever suggested [pombear] should just be a Christmas emoticon.
[stern face]

WildPansy · 13/11/2010 00:47

Or failing that I'll settle for a [turps] emoticon.

YeahBut · 13/11/2010 00:43

Yes to Pom emoticon!
Bear face with [pom] or [moretea]

WildPansy · 13/11/2010 00:42

Signing here for the PomBear emoticon. That thread made my sides hurt even before the return invitation.

TheNoodlesIncident · 13/11/2010 00:40

A PomBear is for keeps, not just for Christmas

I hadn't heard of PomBears before and imagined something sweet like Percy Pig. Now I find it's more like an Organix product. Not disappointing though... we need PomBear emoticon, please!

chipmonkey · 12/11/2010 23:56

Signing here![pombear]

CakeandRoses · 12/11/2010 23:42

ah but pombearmartini - pombears and biscuits have opposite powers

CakeandRoses · 12/11/2010 23:41

Crowns SPB and slightlyjaded.

justine it just needs to be a bears face with [bear-shaped snack anyone?] as the typing thingy

PomBearMartini · 12/11/2010 23:36

MNHQ, how about making it a special limited-edition Christmas emoticon? You need not let us keep it forever, it's just capturing the Pom zeitgeist. Maybe swap it for the biscuit for a while, and then there is no risk of cluttering things up with too many smiley options.

PomBearMartini · 12/11/2010 23:23

The PomBear Martini is all the rage amongst the glitterati this festive season.

Mostly vodka, a whisper of vermouth and several PomBears ... perched on a decorative skewer thingy so they don't get soggy.
