but I must say I do not like that you now stay at the bottom of the thread after you post. You used to be taken to the top, which was much better as the links are right there. This way I have to scroll up!

oh how embarrassing, a crime against the apostrophe in my prev post

StealthPolarBear · 25/09/2010 19:13

It's threads Im On that puts me off - it's too suashed, things don't seem to be laid out nicely like they used to in the good old days
Look I am having to change my job for the first time since 2004, don't take away my comfort blanket too

YetMoreTech · 25/09/2010 19:13

MaMoTTaT, you're on Mumsnet New.

addictedisgettingexcited · 25/09/2010 19:13

i dont like the link colours, blue for what you havent clicked and purple for what you have, the colours are too close to eachother.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 25/09/2010 19:12

I find it really really hard to use

too blue

the threads titles are all squished on the left

don't like the font

[folds arms]

NoahAndTheWhale · 25/09/2010 19:11

StealthPolarBear · 25/09/2010 19:09

ok am on MN new. it is scary

MaMoTTaT · 25/09/2010 19:07

I don't like change.

What's bookmarking?

I don't even know if I'm using new or old

Confused
StealthPolarBear · 25/09/2010 19:07

OK I will try it for a month, no ned to bribe me, I have been thinking about it for a while
When the seasons change, we winge - how have you missed that?? :o Haven't you seen the threads, particularly the ones about how the new CBeebies season song isn't as good as the last one?

YetMoreTech · 25/09/2010 19:06

Okay, completely serious non-inflammatory question...

What do you have against the Mumsnet New style? "I don't like change" and the like is a legitimate answer but I don't really get it. What do you do when the leaves fall off the trees? "Oh I don't go to the park in the autumn because I don't like change". What about day and night? They look pretty different.

I will donate £5 to charity for any person who says "I don't like change", then tries Mumsnet New for a full month and then comes back and says "I tried it and I am changing back because I don't like change". [Oh and I reserve the right to delete links to this post.]

ethelina · 25/09/2010 19:01

You can't bookmark on an iPhone [sulk]

StealthPolarBear · 25/09/2010 19:00

ahh I am a luddite toO

BoysAreLikeDogs · 25/09/2010 19:00

arf arf arf at be/me difficulties

BoysAreLikeDogs · 25/09/2010 18:59

SPB you can bookmark where you have got to in a thread, somehow

BUT

In order to do so you have to use MN New (bleeeeeee) so a New refusnik like me for eg can't illuminate further

[old gimmer]

YetMoreTech · 25/09/2010 18:59

It can tell I have because it should have been "be" instead of "me". It's very clever.

ethelina · 25/09/2010 18:58

...takes me back to the bottom of the screen, as always. (I read top to bottom as well)

ethelina · 25/09/2010 18:57

Hmm let's see. On MN new with bookmarking turned on, it...

YetMoreTech · 25/09/2010 18:57

Tee2072 it is a function of having bookmarking turned on. I'll talk to BookmarkTech about it next week.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 25/09/2010 18:55

(is this like a follow on from the timestables thread - if we all start chanting it we'll remember it by rote and will never say anything bad again????)

AnyFuleKno · 25/09/2010 18:53

what on earth could yetmoretech have said to get deleted?
