How's everyone doing?

@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy @WonderingAboutBabies I’m sorry this wasn’t a positive cycle for you both, be kind to yourselves x

BFN 12 dpo, I’m out! God im so sick of this. Into 9 months of trying now. Good luck to those still waiting to test and ❤️ to those I’ll see on the September thread.

I’m sorry to hear that @HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy it is so disheartening.

Take care of yourself, I’ll see you on the September thread 💐💐

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · Yesterday 08:27

Sorry that you are out too @WonderingAboutBabies @BigGirlPants01 @DancingThroughLife02 TTC is really really shit. Can’t even feel positive about next month as there won’t be anything different so why would I get a different (positive!) result?

Good luck @Babydustthisyear @Silverglass @Springcloud26 and thanks for the commiserations ❤️

Silverglass · Yesterday 08:57

Negative at 9/10 dpo so am probably also out, I’ll test again tomorrow but then just wait for my period (feels like it’ll hit soon).

Vwhite · Yesterday 15:43

Im confused do you go off your first positive ovulation test or the peak? Photos of my testing i had a miscarriage on 21st july so these tests are from cd9? Still testing to make sure i dont miss another lh surge (ive had that before)

congrats to all of those who have had their BFP and sorry for those who are out be kind to yourselves 😊

Hey ladies,

Just catching up on everyone’s updates! Congrats to those who have their BFPs, and sorry to those who are moving on to another cycle!

I should be ovulating over the next few days, so I’ll start testing tomorrow 🤞

In other news, I had a Well Woman scan recently, where they check your uterine lining, ovaries and look for things like cysts, endo and fibroids. I knew I had a tiny fibroid from a scan about 10 years ago, but I was surprised to find out that it’s now grown to 7cm, apparently around the size of an orange! 😮

Funnily enough, I’ve had absolutely no symptoms. They think it’s a subserosal fibroid, meaning it grows on the outer surface of the uterus, so it’s generally less likely to cause fertility issues as it doesn’t affect the uterine lining or, therefore, implantation. However, it is causing some downward displacement of the endometrial cavity.

I’m now, of course, Googling everything and from what I can see, this type of fibroid seems to be less concerning from a fertility perspective. I’ve shared the report with my GP to get their opinion, especially as we’re currently in the process of starting the ball rolling for possible IVF towards the end of the year.

I wondered if anyone here has had any experience with fibroids, particularly larger subserosal ones? Would be really interested to hear your experiences! ❤️

that looks v strongly like you peaked on the 7th so probably ovulated 8th. 🙂 it’s supposed to be the first positive but I don’t think I’ve seen anyone have super strong lines for more than about 24 hours.

the only way to confirm you ovulated though and won’t have another peak later is to track bbt as it’ll increase post ovulation.

Welcome.
How has having the scan made you feel? Might look into getting one done myself

It was definitely reassuring, and I’m really glad I had it done. It also ruled out endo and all the other potential issues I’d been worrying about, which was a huge relief. The sonographer was really lovely and took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns.

I think if you have any worries, it’s definitely worth doing as it can put your mind at ease. What are your main concerns that are making you consider having a scan? Not that you necessarily need a reason, I think it’s always good to be proactive when it comes to these things!

Thats really good to hear. Mainly because ive been off the pill since end of June beginning of July and still not had a period or a positive pregnancy test, when I had a scan about 5 6 years ago it showed cysts on my ovaries as well

Only managed to DTD once, which im a little disappointed by. I dont want to put pressure on him, but i dont think he realises how time sensitive these things are😫

Hi everyone, ttc our second. We had a surprise April 2025 baby. I’m currently in my fertile window but due to the heat I think I’ll be out this month

Oh, it can take a few months for your periods to fully regulate, so hang in there! I’m sure it’ll pounce on you before you know it. Are you doing LH strips to see if you’re ovulating? I know you can still ovulate before you get a regular bleed, so it might be worth keeping an eye on.

Maybabe256 · Yesterday 21:56

How's everyone doing? I missed testing opks as we were away this month which is really frustrating but I think weve had good coverage with dtd. I actually feeeel like im ovulating yesterday/ today. We dtd the night before last and hopefully again tonight. Praying that will be enough

Sorry to hear, I am actually halfway through cycle 12 now with absolutely nothing all year. TTC #1 as well so I was so excited and positive in the beginning but that has well and truly been beaten out of me by this whole thing. Just wanted to say you're not alone in the long haul x

Hi all, ive been in the last 3 previous ttc groups after a chemical pregnancy but left the app last cycle as was all abit much. Now its 9dpo and im going crazy again... tested today and i think I cam see a very faint line and the app pregnancy test tracker said line but I think im imagining it as when look again cant see it but the app hasn't given me a pos before... I hate all this, I didn't really track either this month so not holding out much hope at all!! Is anybody else around 9dpo? Hope your all ok xx

Silverglass · Today 07:18

Another day, another lovely shadow, but started spotting now and got bad cramps so expecting af any time. Only 10dpo today so pretty short luteal cycle, hopefully it’s a bit longer next time!

Ah I was getting the same thing, mine is indent I think but doesn’t mean yours is! Main way to tell is does it look pink, if it’s pink it’s 99% positive.

Thanks the more I look the more I think its my imagination if im honest xx

Morning all... I did another test today and I can see a VVVVVVVVFL, my husband says there's nothing there 🤔. I ran it through the Premom app and it is picking up so I don't know what to think. It may well be another indent but I was spotting yesterday and this morning, which I thought might be implantation... just want a 'yes' or 'no' answer 🫠

Maybe don’t lose hope. My first I had bad cramps and thought it was an early period but turns out I was pregnant!
