TTC August 2026

Grrr why do I do this to myself - I caved at tested today at 8DPO and got a very stark negative. I know it’s still early but you know when you can’t help but feel disappointed. It’s actually masochistic but when you want something so badly you turn a little crazy…!

Morning everyone! CD13 over here today and no positive OPK yet but I’ve had EWCM so hoping it’ll be the next few days 🤞🏻

I’ve also been debating a scan to check on things- I’m probably overthinking it but so worried the d&c has caused scarring 😩

this TTC lark is just constant stress isn’t it 😅

Sadly period just fully started so definitely out!

@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy so sorry AF came. This TTC lark sucks. I’m on the last day of my period today (you know when you wish it would just bugger off) but let’s cross fingers that September is our month for our BFP. September always feels fresh start-y to me.

How is everyone else? I’ve tried to keep track and seen a few BFP so congratulations! I can’t remember all your usernames though 😂.

I had the same- I had to explain in detail a couple of times that the egg only lasts 2 days, so the timing is critical.

I took the pressure off by saying it doesn’t need to be romantic it just needs to be done! That helped a lot!

I basically refuse to test now. Whenever I get the urge I’m like. Nope.

because what was happening was I was getting up in the morning, testing, getting a negative and then having a SHIT start to the day. And that went on for days on end and then AF coming. It was making my life so shit!!! So I stopped. It’s hard but worth it.

I have so many distractions on the go- busy social life, reading, painting, crochet 😆

That’s my goal now. Do the things needed to conceive (shag, no fags no booze) and other than that enjoy my time on planet earth.

I was so anxious about it and now I’m kinda bored of it and I think whatever will be will be.

Congratulations to those with positives! Sorry to those with BFNs and moving onto the next cycle. I think we are on cycle 10 now so I really know how draining and consuming it becomes. It is hard to feel like you’ll see that positive, but we have to keep hoping ❤️

Think I’ve ovulated yesterday or today but haven’t really been doing OPKs this cycle. So will be entering the dreaded TWW 😅

I can really relate to this!! After nearly a year TTC I now only test if I’m due on and am late. I almost lost the plot with all the constant ovulation tests that I now just cannot be bothered with it.

This seems like a very healthy attitude. Wish I could
adopt the same one!

Hi all, after me thinking I was going crazy did a test today 10dpo line still so light but did a digital test and got the magic words pregnant!

Think I am 12 DPO after early MC in July, tested 8 DPO and still had faint line from old hcg. Felt cramps 6-8 DPO and so did another test this morning, a fainter line than Tuesday but no idea if that’s the start of a new pregnancy or still clearing the old. I might just wait a week and see if AF arrives, and if not will test again, and hopefully will have a clear answer one way or the other! I wasn’t using sensitive tests to compare.

It’s all sooo confusing isn’t it! Wait a few days again to test and fingers crossed! I’m 8dpo today, this is cycle 5 for us TTC baby 2. Really hope this is it for you! ❤️❤️

That’s annoying. It can take a while for your hormones to regulate after being on the pill. Hope you get your period soon (which sounds weird to say considering the thread 😂)

@Babydustthisyear how are you doing? Are you still planning to test this weekend? I've been having cramps today and weirdly a stomach ache but that could be something I ate 😅 not due AF until Wednesday.

No idea what DPO I am but 5 days post DTD. I am cramping, nauseaus, with breast and back ache. Unusual symptoms for me. Last time I was pregnant it was similar and that’s why I tested and found out I was pregnant but that was at the tail end of a TWW.
Took a test this morning just incase but BFN 🙈 guess I’ll just wait it out and see what my body is doing!

Had a blood test to check for PMOS/PCOS. It was done on CD12 and I got the results back today. Earlier this week I had signs of ovulation but the blood test shows I haven’t ovulated and I’m likely in the follicular phase still. Google said it’s possible that my body is stalling and is trying to release an egg but can’t. Now to wait for my ultrasound next month 😭

Definitely hoping September will be it for us 🤞 Currently cramping away and can’t imagine dtd ever again 😂😭. Hope your period has truly finished! And that you aren’t feeling too bad about the whole thing!
