For those who want to look to the future and TTC again I would really like some support, advice etc.
I thought we needed a new thread with positive energy (yes have turned into chanting hippy) so that we feel we are moving forward rather than dwelling on what has already passed.
The only thing I can concentrate on at the moment is that next Wed is the day that me and DH can start trying again (this will be 2 weeks after ERPC).
Anyone else ready to try again?

have a large flake from me Bella.
sorry, it must of been a tough conversation.
I do think you should stay home from her get-together tho, if you want. she should understand (have you said, 'i am pleased but its very hard so soon after my m/c'???) and dh should be told why too. he wont understand (hes a bloke- ) but he should respect it.
i'm doing alright, funnily no rush to test, absolutely 99% sure its going to be a '-' anyhow. just wishing af here actually. supose i test and its neg, and then af STILL doesnt come? its messing with my mind. but while i'm sat waiting there is hope right?
and if not, well, join you second cycle girlies then! is that site working yet....i half read something on it and want to finish it........

Bella23 · 17/02/2005 12:49

Thanks DQ - its bloody hard isn't it! Have been for a bit of fresh air so have managed to shake off the negative vibes.
When are you going to test? Will keep fingers crossed for you. When mine was -ve and AF came I wasn't that devastated as I viewed it as at least this way we won't have that worry of ttc too early as we will have that AF in between and also will help with the dating.....well you have to see the positive side to these things don't you!
I have to say what has cheered me up a little is reading some of the questions on that website ....talk abou muppets! oop - sorry I am mean aren't I!!

first off, bella, cheer up girl and i don't think you should feel remotely guilty or pressurized into going to your friends pregnancy thingummy - if i were you i would just make my excuses and then do something totally self-indulgent at that time instead. (i'm quite good at self-indulgence, as it goes ) god knows, we spend enough of our lives doing things we don't want to do - but feel we ought to, huh? (i think exercise dvds might just come into that category too, dq )

hey dqueen - yes, this wait seems long, but i totally know what you mean about wanting to hope so holding off the testing...
how many days into your cycle are you? my AF is due around next wednesday according to ff. chart -
i have got a first response sitting on my bathroom cabinet at the ready - so i guess if my willpower can hold out i should wait 'til next friday if nothing's arrived. pretty sure i'm not going to be able to wait that long.

mishi1977 · 17/02/2005 15:28

i agree bella it is really hard with the pg friend bit and u should stay home eating tons of choccie and treating urself

DQ the wait is hard but am sure af or bfp will behere soon

Romilly god u due again next week...arghh that means im nearly on 2 ww.....i know its only the first month but am starting to fele devestated at the prospect of not being pg again...pmsl...nothing like a bit of impatience hey
take care all

Bella23 · 17/02/2005 15:34

Thanks ladies, need to shake myself out of this self pitying mode - just won't do at all!
I definately think we need a BFP on this thread, that will up the positive energy. Come on ladies, have a good talking to your ovaries and see what you can come up with!

dramaqueen72 · 17/02/2005 16:37

HEY OVARIES! BELLA SAYS GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!
have had word with ovaries, thanks B.
mine are v quiet. sigh. feel absolutely knackered for no real reason and feel cranky.
please tell me everyone WHY is the 'signs' of af so like the signs of pg???????? like how is that fair??? gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
ahem....
i want to be pg. sorry, state obvious but its really sinking in now you know...that i'm not and entire world is. sigh. sounds like you ladies feel the same.
on a plus note (am trying here bella) nearly at end of half term.WooooooooHhooooo!!!!
(i tell you ladies, have many many lovely babies, but ship them all out of the house when they get to 10 or 13. book summer camp, tennis camp, whatever camp, cause NOTHING you suggest at that age is fun, or cool or anything other than 'soooo boring'). infact after eating entire larder contents in one sitting, and creating more washing than i have ever seen, i'm glad they are back to school next week. this does NOT make me a bad mummy, just a bloody knackered one!!LOL

Bella23 · 17/02/2005 16:45

That was loud and clear DQ so they should have heard you! I am going to wait until I get in the car to go home and am going to tell mine

DQ - am laughing at your kids saying everything suggested is "soooo boring".......I think I was like that until I moved out at 20 ...ha ha!!!!!

Am glad to hear you say " I want to be pg" - makes it clear - absolutely ! I want to be pg too so if Lady Luck it listening then over here please

OP posts:
dramaqueen72 · 17/02/2005 16:47

Bella23 · 17/02/2005 16:49

Ooh yes, i can see it now, all your kids will love home so much they will stay well into their 30's !!!!!!!!! HA HA

OP posts:
dramaqueen72 · 17/02/2005 16:52

if its the future we're looking into...well i think youre having triplets!!
all my children will be well behaved and nice to mums or leave home by 19.

Bella23 · 17/02/2005 16:55

OUCH - you win as triplets would be sooooo hard!

OP posts:
dramaqueen72 · 17/02/2005 22:57

aw, i dont know Bella, if anyone could do triplets its you

Bella23 · 18/02/2005 08:50

Oh alright DQ - maybe I'll have quads!
Morning Ladies. Still struggling with positivity this morning, not sure why all of a sudden. I think my BF's scan yesterday must have really pushed some buttons! Anyway determined to shake of these negative feelings somehow. AF nearly on her way out so next week is going to be full steam ahead
DQ - are you testing this w/kend?
Hope you ladies have something nice in store for the w/kend. Am going to make a concerted effort to take davina out of her box and throw myself round the lounge a bit with her - well at least watching it would be a start at this point!

OP posts:
dramaqueen72 · 18/02/2005 09:47

i tested today actually. far far far too early. and of course it was NEGATIVE. and i'm none the wiser......either i'm not pg at all, or i'm testing far too early anyhow. so that was a waste of a test silly silly me.

Bella23 · 18/02/2005 09:52

DQ - don't feel silly, we all do it.
How many weeks has it been since your ERPC?

OP posts:
dramaqueen72 · 18/02/2005 12:02

four on sunday

romilly · 18/02/2005 12:06

i was wondering who would crack first dqueen - you or me! mind you, i think timing wise you are at least a week ahead of me? so i would have done the same . except of course i waited for AF first so didnt try first month. where are you in your cycle post erpc? you must be 28 days or so??? i am now

i am dealing with The Long Agonizing Wait by going out too much - not a good idea at all. anything to keep my mind off stuff tho.

bella - cheer up - nearly the weekend
