All my plans at getting organised in the last thread left me as I realised the thread with referrals was already up and running, so the one I set up I'll link to once the current one runs out!

Welcome one and all to this safe, warm and fuzzy place for people to share discounts, bargains and Christmas gift ideas both online and IRL. Please note the tone and intention of the thread and join with spirit as generous as DC helping themselves to the Christmas chocolate celebrations Smile .

Here’s some useful information about how to save the thread or a specific post so you don’t need to have a message to check in for every thread so you have the thread saved:

To watch the thread - click on the little bell that has ‘watch’ under my first message. This adds the whole thread to your ‘watched threads’

You can also bookmark a specific post by clicking on the ‘bookmark’ under the specific post. This saves your exact place in a thread but doesn’t alert you to new replies.

If you have any referral links or codes, please share them on the referral thread here

A reminder that we don't use affiliated links on here please

If there’s anything you think would be useful or good to include in this post then please do tag me and let me know here (or DM me). Also always happy to hear nominations for a thread title.

Very niche question for ballet mums. I'm looking to buy a pair of dance warm up booties for an 11 year old who does ballet at a reasonably high level (has danced at ENB Christmas ballet type performance level), so would prefer to get a recognisable good quality brand.

Do Bloch ever have sales or shall I just get them now?

@darknights44 thanks for the honey offer, I’ve ordered some for my DS

Quick Switch Question. Looking for recommendations for games for my DDs (9 and 7) who have a Switch 1. They liked Animal Crossing but have exhausted it. Not keen on Mario Jamboree, they’ve just got into Minecraft, they like Lego Harry Potter and Princess Peach. Just Dance is so/so.
Looks like many of the good games are just for the switch 2. Thanks in advance.

Mario Kart and you can also buy a download for extra tracks.
Mario party.

To be honest mine went through a phase when they got the switch of playing things like animal crossing but then gave up with it. It's only in the last year my son has become big on Minecraft. He doesn't play anything else. My daughter no longer plays on hers. (Sorry that's not really the answer you want to hear!).

Disney dreamlight valley is a great game for someone who likes animal crossing, but it's one player.

Last year EE did a discount on Benefit Mascara. It was a good hit for my older teen, I usually have to stick to the list but I like to get some nice surprises in there if I can. Does anyone know if it's likely they'll do the same again this year? I think it has been done on previous years too but I wasn't on here then!

My girls are going to be hard to buy for this year!

@Mumbythesea1 I’m at Barcelona airport right now but unfortunately at terminal 2c which is basically just a shed for easyJet. No shops at all before security and only a very small duty free after. No cards in there. I’m so sorry 😢

Thank you so so much for looking. I really appreciate it xxx

It was £50 for 3 in clearance when I just checked how did you get the deal?

Nomdeplumeforthis1 · Today 09:20

Sure it’s been mentioned earlier on but the ‘fill the fridge’ mini brand and 2 balls is on offer in store at tk maxx for £19.99. This is the next cheapest I’ve seen it.

Not very exciting but might be good for a hamper of things or if you are doing things for Foodbank or a local hostel as part of your Christmas giving - shower gel is 43p for me on S&S - abit more without, but it is 60p off with a voucher that is already added.

It is on Amazon.

My daughter loves it so I’ve bought one for her just for now but thought it might be handy as a cheap as on.

edited as I forgot to say where 😩

Edited

Just trying to add extra info as it didn’t work for someone who tried - I am getting into a pickle trying to add pictures so please ignore me if it shows too many times.

I just added the code at the check out and it brought us down to 22 something, then added postage on.

Thing the code was 60OFFLAST it was what was posted thread anyway.

imnottoofussed · Today 09:29

@Beachcomber74it is the single squeeze bottle when you add to basket and enter code 60OFFLAST it goes down to £6.40 assume the others will also go down by 60% when using the code
