Just curiosity, not having another one
I always thought it would be Eh-loys but the CBeebies presenters say Eh-Louise!

I knew one and she said it should be

Elle oh Waas ('actually')

We were about 7 and it made my parent PTSL (out of her earshot)

ok I'll admit I'm wrong!
Just doesn't seem right, it's basically Lois which is pronounced differently!
