Edmund as a change from Edward?

Think it would be pretty nice. DH not convinced...

I know! Negative connatations. But Sir Edmund Hillary was pretty cool. as was Edmund Spencer.

I don't like it though Edward is one of my favourite names. Reminds me of the one in lion witch and the waredrobe
