Love Aurelien but suspect would be too much with Cecily. Frederick is super. Scan on 12th so at least that willmake decision easier.....

If you are thinking "foreign" as you suggest:

Antonio
Francesco
Aurelien
Lorenzo
Andreas
Luciano
Xavier

Ohh I like Sebastian a lot too, it was on our shortlist. I know you're not keen on shortened versions, but if it does happen, Seb is one of the better ones.

Barnaby
Dominic
Benedict
Montague
Johnathan
Benjamin

are the ones that immediately spring to mind....

Pasiphae · 30/09/2009 11:37

Sebastian, Baltazar, Volodia, Phileas, Gideon, Ulysses (risky but I know few foreign ones and it works lovely), Ferdinand, Aristide or Anatole (very French)?

I wanted Ludovic... I still like it.

PenguinProject · 29/09/2009 22:29

Waves at Puree! Love your Algernon threat.

Theodore, well Theo is lovely - just ask Neenz.

I like Simeon, but thought it was a girls name.

If you're feeling a bit Godfather ish, there's always Santino.

BTW, just as a warning my brother is officially named Timothy and absolutely hates it. He has never been called anything but Tim. He hates it when I call him Timmy too (Famous Five associations).

Ah- makes sense

Liking theodore. Have threatened DH with Algernon if he doesn't agree to something...nothing like The Importance of Being Ernest to put you under pressure
