Ingrid or Astrid?

DH prefers Ingrid and I prefer Astrid. We're Scottish and have no Scandinavian connection (or Orcadian for that matter) other than a fondness for holidays there. What do you think?

Astrid is nicer in my opinion..I know a few Ingrids, but havent heard of an Astrid in ages.

Prefer astrid, she's blonde and beautiful... Ingrid is a mousey haired librarian. Sorry, I've been playing with that name thingy too long
