Is it not the Irish for Kathleen in which case the prounciation could be more the way your dh thinks it is.

mummywhodrinks · 28/06/2009 20:58

I saw it in the nct magazine. Says on a baby name website it is a greek name meaning 'pure'.

I agree Caitlin is also nice but it is meant to be pronouced Catlin according to dh and I want a Kate sound at the beginning.

nickytwotimes · 28/06/2009 20:50

Well, Caitlin is nice.
WHere the hell did you dig up Kaitland from though?

AnarchyAunt · 28/06/2009 20:49

There was a Kaitland at DD's old nursery and it made my teeth itch every time I saw it written down.

It just looks daft.

trixymalixy · 28/06/2009 20:48

Do you need a passport to go there?

rubyslippers · 28/06/2009 20:47

what is wrong with Caitlin?

SoupDragon · 28/06/2009 20:47

What do I think? That everyone will think you're an idiot who can't spell Caitlin.

aGalChangedHerName · 28/06/2009 20:45

LetThemEatCake · 28/06/2009 20:41
