Not Now, getorfmoiland!

GetOrfMoiLand · 15/06/2009 10:36

Every time I see a crappy name on a thread now I am just going to go on and post 'bernard'.

I am hoping that the message will subtely filter through

seeker · 15/06/2009 10:36

gerontius - isn't that spelling getting a bit too popular?

thell · 15/06/2009 10:27
coffeecups · 12/06/2009 20:12

is it available at Ikea?

gagamama · 12/06/2009 12:53

I thought it was variation of Ezekiel, not Isaac! Isaac is a lovely name, but not spelght lyke thatte.

monkeyfeathers · 11/06/2009 16:49

will the Bernard rule apply to children of both sexes?

gerontius · 11/06/2009 12:51

Why not go the whole hog and spell it Ggnsuvb?

ludog · 11/06/2009 12:48

It hurts my iiiiis.

helsbels4 · 27/05/2009 18:55

Yeah, that'll be it

abraid · 27/05/2009 18:26

Some of you are just jealous because you didn't think of it first.

Paolosgirl · 27/05/2009 16:43

Love it, GetOrf

GetOrfMoiLand · 27/05/2009 16:29

Lol Nekabu - sorry!

Mumsnet hazard, I was sat at work giggling like a pixie yesterday reading the student food thread, certainly didn't look as if I was working very hard!

Nekabu · 27/05/2009 16:25

GetOrfMoiLand, I had been looking forward to this cup of tea and now a large mouthful of it is over my keyboard!

GetOrfMoiLand · 27/05/2009 16:20

Are you joking?

It sounds like a card game.

I think there should be a new rule in registrars that parents who chose silly invented names like this should be forcibly made to name their child Bernard.

JoPie · 27/05/2009 16:20

Do you have something against the kid?

caramelwaffle · 27/05/2009 16:20

Good God No! Contrived and silly.

abraid · 27/05/2009 16:18

That's just so classy, Paolosgirl. A boy with that name will go, er, places.

Paolosgirl · 27/05/2009 16:13

But perhaps it's Eye-za-queue?

In which case, go for it! A made up name with a made up spelling - a double whammy

OrmIrian · 27/05/2009 16:12

Bless you!

thumbwitch · 27/05/2009 16:12

do what? IF you want to call him Isaac, do so but spell it correctly.

TBCoalman · 27/05/2009 16:11

C'oeliaque. That could work.

mangolassi · 27/05/2009 16:10

at unfortunate placing above 'coeliac' in active convos

diedandgonetodevon · 27/05/2009 16:08

Sounds like something you'd buy on QVC.

2cats2many · 27/05/2009 16:06

why-oh-why-oh-why?
