Clover?

Was reading Red magazine the other day and there were two mentions of women named Clover. I hadn't really thought of it before but the more I think about it the more I like it.

Anyone with me?

I think animal names should be reclaimed... I love so many:

Rex
Spike

It would be a nice name if it wasn't for the margarine.

MrsWeasley · 26/05/2009 13:27

Beautiful name imho.

Clover was the sister of Katy Carr from the "What Katy Did" books which I totally adored as a child.

GetOrfMoiLand · 26/05/2009 13:26

No, conjures up image of a dozy, big jersey cow.

VintageGardenia · 26/05/2009 13:23

Katie Carr's sister, shorely, not Devon milkers.

Metatron · 26/05/2009 13:22

I like it. V What Katy Did.

GetOrfMoiLand · 26/05/2009 13:22

Lol MrsMattie, that's exactly what I was just about to post.

I cannot imagine it being said in anything other than a very strong Devon farmers accent (Clooow-VERRRRR)

LessThenIdeal · 26/05/2009 13:19

The Lord Mayor of Sydney is a Clover.

It's not for me. Unless you're naming a calf, or possibly a rabbit. GREAT name for a rabbit.

MrsMattie · 26/05/2009 13:15

Cow's name
