For a girl (obviously lol). Could shorten it to Kitty.

Which do you prefer?

Kitten Catherine
Kitten Elizabeth
Kitten Isobel
Kitten DeeDee
Kitten Seraphina
Kitten Cloud

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Kitty short for Catherine maybe.

Can you imagine if the girl grows us to play scrum half for the England ladies rugby team?

hobbgoblin · 18/05/2009 14:13

That's not so fair.

Some of us like very unusual names. I am one of them, but it doesn't mean we don't wish to temper the enthusaism for slightly way out names with a bit of a mumsnet reality check.

HellHathNoFury · 18/05/2009 13:27

Lolatheshowgirl, are you like, really bored or something?
You have started loads of baby names threads.
Let me help you.
Boy - call him Jack or Harry
Girl - call her Grace or Isabel

there, done

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 17/05/2009 22:28

Kitty intrinsically very different imo

LynetteScavo · 17/05/2009 22:28

Wasn't there a real nutter on Big Brother a few years ago called Kitten?

I may be wrong.

scottishmummy · 17/05/2009 22:24

ghastly stringfellow's stage names.reminiscent of plastic titted dancers

if you want kitty call her kitty.

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 17/05/2009 22:22

nope to Kitten sorry - awful very c word

tiger too

hobbgoblin · 17/05/2009 22:21

I LOVE kitten and wish I was just a smidgen braver so as to use it myself.

My friend's DD is Emilia Kitten.

One of my DS has Tiger as his last middle name...

We might use Kitty but not sure what with.

Quattrocento · 17/05/2009 22:17

Not way out at all Lola. Did you not see the thread where the OP wanted to call her poor infant 'Bear'?

Cue lots of infantile second names (necessities) was my favourite. Not sure the OP found it as hilarious as the rest of us though ...

thumbwitch · 17/05/2009 22:13

Lola, given some of the barking names people come up with, it wasn't really that way out!

you guys, I can't believe that some of you thought I was serious. I would NEVER call my daughter anything like kitten! I like the boring old normal names! Was just having a bit of fun on a Saturday night!

PS. Call her kitten, then move to a country where English has not been heard of. That will work

Pamboli · 17/05/2009 02:12

Isn't this a joke?

cazinski · 17/05/2009 01:59

Words fail me yet again...

LolaTheShowgirl · 17/05/2009 00:17
