help with girls name required!

I am booked in for a c-section on Monday and we still haven't decided on a name for our baby girl!!

Here's our shortlist (ideally we want middle name as Isabel after MIL but it's not essential). Our surname is Westhead so it has to go well with that...

Mathilda Isabel Westhead
Alexandra Isabel
Evelyn Isabel
Audrey Isabel
Emilia Isabel
Elisabeth(Bettie)Rose Westhead
Mathilda (Tilly or Tilda) Rose
Alexandra Rose

Thank you - we went for Evelyn (Evie for short) Isabel Westhead in the end. Our lovely midwife was called Evelyn and this finally clinched it for us! XX

I like the spelling of Elisabeth with an 's' as it makes the name a little softer. I know someone who did this because they didn't want their dd to end up always being called Liz, and it worked!

I like Elisabeth Rose best - it is classic and flows together.
I really don't think the Rose West thing is an issue at all, it's the middle name and part of your surname so not the same thing at all. And Rose is so popular people don't immediately think of her in the way that Myra immediately makes you think of a murderer.

Isabel = fab name (I have one), although I like Isobel better.

Evelyn is lovely.
Mathilda is nice.
Audrey - I love Audrey Hepburn but can't decide if that is enough to lift the name out of potential dowdiness: can't decide if I really love it, or not.

Am less keen on the others.

I like Alexandra Rose and Elisabeth Rose (Betty/Betsy) best.

Minnie Jane is also a cool name, but I would want Minnie to be a nickname, personally. Minnie could be short for Mathilda, actually....

For me, Isabel is just too popular, not sure about Audrey and I don't like Emilia or Evelyn at all.

Elizabeth and Evelyn are my faves.
Suddenly gone off Mathilda as I can see her getting Hilda for short, for me is an absolute no no.

Alexandra Isabel - Alexandra is very popular round here
Evelyn Isabel - I prefer Eve or Evie personally
Audrey Isabel - not keen on this at all
Emilia Isabel - pretty. Millie/Milly is vey popular though
Elisabeth(Bettie)Rose Westhead - Elisabeth is very traditional, pretty name
Mathilda (Tilly or Tilda) Rose
Alexandra Rose - Rose is nice middle name
Emilia Rose - pretty; like the name Rose as middle name
Emilia Jane - reminds me of the children's book about naughty Amelia Jane
Minnie Jane - don't like Minnie

Thanks everyone: very helpful indeed, particularly Sockmonster for pointing out the potential huge faux pas of incorporating the name of serial killer Rose West! that would not have been a good move.

I am now leaning towards Alexandra Isabel...

I love Audrey, and also Elizabeth with nn Betty or Bess - both are stunning!
Minnie is a cute nn for wilhelmina or something, but i would be reluctant to use Minnie as a full name!
the other options are all nice, but these are stunning imo!

It is the original hebrew (?) form and widely used across Europe. I think it's prettier than with a 'z' but I got soooo many bad comments.. like 'oh so it's elizabeth with a lisp'

Isabel as middle name, don't go for Rose pleeeease because it will read
...Rose West...

not good to incorporate a serial killer into your dd's name!

I prefer Emilia or Alexandra. Mathilda and evelyn are nice too but possibly slightly overused atm.

Think these two go really nicely together. Mathilda although lovely doesn't go as well imo. Mathilda sort of a gingham name and Isabel a bit posh....
