As Mimosa seems to have got the thumbs down.

love Daphne, very Mitford sisters cool.

CuppaTeaJanice · 29/04/2009 17:29

Lilac makes me think of a very frail old lady in bloomers, and Daphne a woman from the seventies with big horn-rimmed glasses that likes wife swapping parties.

Any other possibilities?

CatchaStar · 29/04/2009 17:28

Really sorry but niether.

janeite · 29/04/2009 17:27

Am not liking Mimosa at all, sorry. Daphne doesn't do it for me. I quite like Lilac! Lavender? Violet?

ScottishBoris · 29/04/2009 17:24

Neither here, Daphne always makes me think of fat Daphne from "The Broons" (ancient Scottish comic strip family) and I'm not keen on the "lac" sound in Lilac.

Sorry.

I like Daphne - but pronounced 'Daphna' Dp's ultra-glamorous, cousin in NY is called Daphne(a) and she loves her name!
