As Mimosa seems to have got the thumbs down.

didn't say they were cool just that their names evoke a certain gatsby-esque 20's feel which to me is quite nice,I like the use of Jecca for Jessica etc.
I have an Oswald and a Unity btw!!!!

Megglevache · 30/04/2009 12:16

Mme my dog is a Daphne too

MmeLindt · 30/04/2009 12:11

I love love love Daphne but then I am biased. Pic of my Daphne on my profile.

I have been predicting a Daphne comeback for months.

Megglevache · 30/04/2009 12:08

I considered Mimosa for my dd. I love it dh did not.

yellowflowers · 30/04/2009 12:07

Wow, all three of DD's names on one thread!

ninedragons · 30/04/2009 11:06

Thumbs up. I think it's lovely.

Flappythebat · 30/04/2009 11:06

What about Delphinia - could be shortened, looks and sounds prettier than Daphne imho.

Well have totally gone off Mimosa and Lilac now, still liking Daphne but considering Elizabeth Daphne nn Beth, fits well with other two dd.

both horrible!

pointydog · 29/04/2009 23:16

Lila? Leila?

Flappythebat · 29/04/2009 23:12

sorry neither, Daphne just reminds me of Scooby Doo and Lilac is just a colour/flower to me and not a "name".

Rindercella · 29/04/2009 23:11

I don't much liek either. My Mum is Daphne and she has always loathed the name. Hates it with a vengenance and was very pleased when we gave DD MIL's name as a middle name & not Daphne!

Twims · 29/04/2009 23:11

Prefer Lila over Lilac and quite like Daphne.

Thunderduck · 29/04/2009 23:08

Neither.

LaDiDaDi · 29/04/2009 22:36

Daphne

wombleprincess · 29/04/2009 21:49

daphne is lovely.

Umlellala · 29/04/2009 20:04

I prefer Mimosa out of all of them

What do YOU like best?

TaLcKy · 29/04/2009 19:55

Lilac, but how about Violet?

Violet is pretty methinks.

MrsHappy · 29/04/2009 19:54

I prefer Daphne of the two. Lilac is a bit wet, I think (sorry).

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 29/04/2009 19:54

Daphne makes me think of the lady in Neighbours who was married to Des and owned the coffee shop!

So, I would vote for Lilac.

weepootle · 29/04/2009 19:52

Sorry, neither. I think Daphne is just pure ugly.

Mize · 29/04/2009 19:46

I like Daphne better
